This is a snappy looking backpack complete with genuine leather strap. The canvas khaki material and straps are heavy duty. The shoulder straps are padded and adjustable. They have tons of pockets and snaps that work and look good and are easy to use. In fact the buckles are actually for looks only because they've added snaps to the backs of them so you don't have to take the time to unbuckle it to get inside the backpack. There is an interior drawstring to this bag if you need additional security to contain everything inside. There are SIX pockets- some zippered and some not. It measures 14" L x 18" H x 6.5"W in size and can accomodate a laptop and much more

Love this backpack! I can really pack it full, and even with some heavier things in it, it doesn't hurt my shoulders. I like the leather straps and the quality too.

A little smaller than what I was looking for

Constructed of durable heavy duty canvas, this is a very good looking khaki colored vintage style backpack that is well complimented by genuine brown leather trim and sturdy brass hardware. Measuring approximately 18" high by 14" wide and 6" deep, this is a spacious top loading pack that features both a drawstring closure option as well as a fold-over lid with leather straps, button closure, and brass adjustment buckles.The majority of this bag's storage space is found in its fully lined main compartment which hosts an 11" x 11" Velcro closing padded laptop sleeve on the rear wall that easily fit my 15" Lenovo ThinkPad, two roomy sleeves for cell phones, battery banks or other gear on the front wall along with two pen holding sleeves, and ample storage space for text books, folders, notebooks, or weekend getaway clothing. The rear wall of the pack is padded down the entirety of it's length plus there is a reinforcement panel and padding for the pack's bottom.The sides of the bag each have roomy 7" x 7" storage compartments with fold over lids that secure down by leather strapped button closure and also have brass buckles that allow the user to cinch them down more tightly when needed. The side compartments are large enough that I fit two 16.9 Oz water bottles in one of them and the lid still closed over them, so you could easily use them to store a camera or other items you want fast access to and protect everything from the elements by closing the lid. Although canvas isn't waterproof, it is water resistant enough to protect your gear during a sudden downpour.The back of the bag has a carry/hanging loop affixed to the upper portion, with a wide strip of heavy duty nylon webbing sewn in at the juncture of the handle and carry straps for extra reinforcement. The entire back of the bag is heavily padded, and the two curved adjustable carry straps are thickly padded for the users comfort, have sturdy brass adjustment buckles and heavy duty web straps that are well reinforced at all stress points.It's tough to beat canvas for durability and this bag is no exception. There are no zippers in this pack that could break or cause problems, all of the stitching is tight, neatly done, and well reinforced at stress points, and the genuine leather and solid brass hardware add to the bag's durability. This large backpack is stylish, functional, rugged, and durable. It's built to handle weight and still provide for the wearer's comfort and should hold up a long time even if used in the elements. It would work well as a school pack, and could also work as well for hiking, fishing, or traveling. I received this OXA backpack for my review and for my experience in writing unbiased technical video reviews for backpacks, briefcases, shoulder bags, duffels bags and purses.I define two genres of backpacks, the open sack, and the compartment zippered. Among my testing group of Jr High to College Students, the majority seem to prefer the open sack, while day campers and campers and businessmen seem to prefer the compartment zippered.This style is the open sack. The material presents itself as a thick cotton canvas, with lining and has the build quality for good durability. Empty, it weighs 1.80lbs. Because of its soft sides and lack of side seams, its length and width can be argued; using the back panel, I came up with 11 x 7 inches without the side pockets and 15 inches tall.The side pockets, when stuffed add considerable width, and yes, they can hold water bottles.In a video I walk you through the backpack showing you all of the details.I hope my video and comments help you in making an informed decisionTom, the Squirrel Whisperer

The OXA Large canvas laptop computer backpack is very versatile, well made, durable and would make an excellent bag for weekend travel, camping, hiking, school or work.The bag is a made using heavy duty canvas and the straps and fasteners are well made and appear to be very durable.There are side pockets on each side of the backpack. These have a neat cover flap that helps keep any item in the side pocket secure. These side pockets are suitable for storing water bottles, cell phones or other small personal items.The main storage compartment is very roomy. It has a separate pouch for storing your laptop. In addition, there are smaller pouches for storing pens/smaller items. There is a rather large open area that will hold books or personal gear such as clothing.There is a zippered interior pouch for storing items that you want quick access to or you want to keep organized and protected.The main pouch can be closed by a drawstring. Then there is a flap that covers and adds additional protection to the contents.You can carry the backpack by a small canvas handle. There are heavy duty shoulder straps that allow you to carry it as a backpack.This backpack is very attractive, well made, rugged and has plenty of room for storage.I was provided a sample for testing/review purposes.
