Thread SEW All 26SP

The item I received was sent in an unpadded paper envelope. I was concerned that the plastic box would be cracked but that was not the case. Please be aware the material is not made in Germany but in the US. I think is fair to assume the company has a license for US production from Guttermann. I have not yet used the thread but all the colors are vibrant and 100% polyester. Each spool has 110 yds of threat.

This is a nice assortment of thread. The spools are small but the thread quality is unmatched and the colors are gorgeous. I like the storage container for keeping them organized.

This is great thread. While I can't say it's the best for topstitching, it works great for reinforcement stitches. Since it's not entirely listed, I'll put it here. Thread weight is 30wt. Use with 70/10-90/14 needles. Color coding for included spools: 642 Ocean Green, 716 Spring Green, 752 Grass Green, 774 Green Bay, 807 Lemon Peel, 855 Saffron, 903 Orchid, 925 Parma Violet, 943 Eggplant, 619 Parakeet, 596 Brown, 595 Chestnut, 566 Maple, 520 Wheat, 470 Orange, 440 Claret, 410 Scarlet, 10 Black, 20 Nu White, 30 Bone, 102 Mist Gray, 236 Stone Blue, 251 Cobalt Blue, 280 Charcoal Navy, 315 Dawn Pink, 370 Orange Blush If you're running into the thread twisting and looking like it's unraveling, rethread your upper and then: check for burrs in your needle, upper thread tension, and if all else fails, switch from a universal needle to a topstitch needle as the eye is larger. Worst case scenario add a tiny amount of lubricant to the needle eye. Best of luck! This thread should treat you well!

It came in good shape and seemed high quality with high quality spools. I bought mine directly from Amazon since I read some reviews of some arriving in poor shape. I was disappointed that it didn't come with a guide that said the color number, name, and example. So I made my own...

great quality thread. pretty thick and strong and i think I'll stick with this specific brand from now on. a tiny bit pricey but you really do get what you pay for. good variety of colors to choose from and keep in mind they are cross wound not stacked which I didn't realize when I ordered but I've had no problem with them on my vertical top loading spool holder. made several finished projects so far. nice reusable box that they come in that has spokes which hold the spools in place rather than them just rattling around in there. I seen reviews saying theirs arrived in broken packaging but that seems to just be from drivers mishandling the product not from the producer because mine arrived intact. highly recommend.

My case, like so many others, arrived cracked since it was loose in a bubble envelope. I can live with that corner as all of my spool posts were intact. There is room under the spools for the type of bobbins my Singer machine uses. There is probably enough room for most machine bobbins. You might need skinny fingers to reach in to get the bobbin but having the colors together in future should be helpful. I don't usually sew with top and bottom threads being different colors. The lid doesn't hold on with friction or a clasp. For now I'll keep the label to hold it shut. Later I'll move to an elastic band or a velcro strap. For those who are interested here is the color selection. The color numbers are official. love it so much. plenty of colours to choose from. and great quality they makes my sewing process so much enjoyable. i've been using some cheap threads. they frequently stuck and i was so frustrated. I've used 3 spools now and nothing like that happened.

Love it. The colours are amazing and the quality is the best as it always is with Gutermann. No other thread holds as this one. I only use Gutermann threads and was happy with the price of this collection. If there were more boxes like this with other colours, then I would purchase those as well. Will buy this product again as well.
