New York Dream Satin Liquid Foundation (Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation), Nude, 1 fl. oz.

This is a thick liquid foundation that blends beautifully and sets to a satiny, not dewy, finish. I have this on Subscribe & Save in Sandy Beige Medium. Previously, I used L'Oreal True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup, Natural Buff, 1 Fluid Ounce , shade number N3. This shade of Maybelline is a very close match to the L'Oreal. I was perfectly happy with the L'Oreal True Match, and may buy it again, but I wanted to use a SPF 30 moisturizer , so I gave this a shot. It does not disappoint, either. The shades are very skinlike. You get light coverage with one pump, and you can build from there. It's very forgiving in terms of building coverage and blending. It stays on all day, doesn't bleed or seep into lines, and cleans off easily with any water-soluble cleanser, or cold cream, if you want to go that way. By the way, I'm in my mid-fifties and have a gorgeous twenty-year-old niece who is quite the makeup artist. We've compared notes, and both like the L'Oreal and Maybelline Liquid Mousse. In fact, the day we compared notes, we were both wearing this foundation :) And we looked GOOD!

I bought this foundation after 15+ years without using foundation of any kind. I have only used a little powder makeup, and I call it good. I bought this specifically because it was rated low on the [...] website. Unlike most foundations, this one seemed to be fairly clean considering. The foundation goes on semi-transparent. It isn't a heavy cover. I feel I get more cover with Bare Minerals alone, but this does a decent job. The color is spot on. I bought Medium Beige, which matched really well with Bare Minerals' Medium Beige. I apply it using a brush, and it seems to look fairly flawless once done. If using a concealer with color to remove acne marks or dark circles, this will not be covering enough to cover the color. You will have to use a skin toned concealer in combination and/or finish with a lot of really good powder. I have adult acne, and this didn't increase my acne in any way. Overall I am happy with this!

I love makeup, but foundations have always been the toughest thing for me to get right as they oxidize and turn orange-y on my skin. This has made me leery of "drugstore" brands that I can't return, and also leery of ordering online, so I've been a Laura Mercier and MAC fan, both with a wide range of returnable colors/products. But being stuck at home, I didn't want to use up all of my expensive makeup and don't want to go without any makeup at all, as I still want to look decent for my husband and in case I see the neighbors from a distance! Plus, as a mid-50's gal, I am beginning to prefer the "less is more" look than what I used to wear. This stuff is amazing and checked every box! Doesn't turn orange and slips on easily without using a primer and then stays put all day. Plus the color stayed true and it provides buildable coverage! For under $8! I am hooked now!

This is a good foundation. Overall the coverage is really nice and it hides my bright color correcting very well. I find the name is a little misleading. It is not really a mousse type foundation seeing it is just like my regular liquid one. Also, it takes a bit to blend so if you don't have a lot of time to do your makeup I would not recommend this. Otherwise no major complaints.

I usually use bare minerals. This winter I decided to use liquid foundation for the season, but I can't indulge in the usual stuff. I have never tried Maybelline. I have always been a diehard covergirl user when I bought grocery store makup. I read the reviews for what is out there. The reviews for this were the best I found. People have been very honest and it has been helpful in finding the right product, so I thank you all, btw :-) It is in THAT spirit that I do the same. If you are like me and haven't really ventured into liquid foundation or you haven't tried 'over the counter' cosmetics in awhile, I think you will find this is a really nice makeup! I think I lucked out finding the perfect match. It helps there are many to choose from. This goes on nice! I used the tinest amount. In areas I know to be drier, I used even less. It doesn't shine or flake! It blends beautifully and feels natural to the touch, no rub off either.The price is awesome! I also tried it out at home first. It stayed all day without my 'redness' poking out through makeup wearing off.

Before I ordered this, I was using Maybelline New York Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation in Sandy Beige. Before that I used Maybelline New York Fit Me! in I don't know how many colors I tried. The Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation is definitely better than the Fit Me! in my opinion. Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation is creamier and is thicker, but it does not feel heavy at all on my face. I have a chicken pox scar on my left check and I am able to fully cover it up. Now that I have found the right color (creamy natural), I will keep buying this product. I live in Las Vegas, and the price is about the same on Amazon as it is at any store. It was comparable when I lived in Seattle as well. I like buying it on Amazon because I don't have a car, and this way I do not have to venture out in the Las Vegas summer heat!

I've always went back to this after trying many others and theirs no comparison the texture and smoothness and make my complexion look flawless with no creasing. I also live that it has no funny smell like others .Originally dream mouse that I used to buy in the store and thought it was discontinued and was so happy to find on Amazon!

This is the best foundation! I wish I could still find it
