A Fantastic Projector
So far this projector has exceeded my expectations and the laser UST market is one I would love to see take off. This projector is amazing and the picture is breathtaking. We had a long throw throw projector and changed our media room setup and had to go back to a TV. It just wasn’t the same immersive experience as watching on a giant screen. We purchased this as a solution after a lot of research and the recent price drops in laser projectors. This brings the large screen cinematic experience to your house. A few comments: 1. With our other projector (long throw) we were able to project on the wall and get a good picture. The Ultra Short Throw makes wall texturing much more apparent. While the image is ok on a bare wall you really should use a screen. 2. We ordered screen samples of white, grey, and specific UST ALR material from the Silver Ticket web site. In all light conditions we actually preferred the white material. We bought one of the 100” white material screens from Silver Ticket and have been pleased. It washes out a little with ambient light but is actually better than the glare we had with the TV set and full light. Depending on your room lighting conditions your preferences may differ. 3. Getting the screen “perfect” is a bit more challenging than a long throw projector because of steep projection angle and no lens shift. It is feasible though. 4. The fan can be a little noisy when the laser is over 80%. The Cinema setting at 50% makes it quiet and plenty bright for us. 5. As other reviewers mentioned the Android OS doesn’t stream Netflix or Amazon Prime out of the box (yet). Not a problem as we have always used a Roku for streaming. Overall, a great projector that delivers the “wow” factor. You can spend two or three times as much for a 4K UST but this delivers a fantastic picture from one of the best projector companies for significantly less.

Stunning Picture, Quick Setup
I received this projector only yesterday, had it for less than 24 hour but I am so impressed with ease of set-up and picture quality, I am rushing to write review. It was a breeze to set-up. Just follow the step-by-step instructions that comes with the projector. Adjusting picture size, and shapes are unbelievably simple. This is our first ever projector of any kind so I can not compare with other UST or conventional projectors. I also have seen numerous complaints about the fan noise, however, I did not find it as troublesome as others. We have less than 10 feet of viewing distance. At this distance fan isn't whisper quiet but it isn't overwhelmingly loud either. The fan is very loud when the projector is first powered-up but it quiets down in a couple of minutes. Another important thing to keep in mind is level of "light-output". At 100%, the fan noise is extremely high, but in normal viewing mode at 80% or below, it is pretty quiet. The picture is plenty bright at 80% light output level. Regarding the picture brightness, contrast, HDR, color saturation: I found the projector excelling in all of these. We do not have an ALR screen, it is being projected on a beige wall. We don't find the colors off at all. we have to try using it during day and see how it holds-up. It is bit annoying to set-up Google account for using the built-in Android TV. Not sure if you can use Android TV without Google account. Android TV supports many streaming Apps natively but not Netflix. Go figure! Netflix can be streamed one of the three ways: via YouTube TV or Chromecast or Roku or some other external streaming device. I was able to set-up HBOMAX, SHOWTIME, and PBS but haven't had success with using built-in Chromecast for casting Netflix. Currently only YouTube TV works for Netflix. Bult-in Google voice assistant works really well. Overall, a great projector for someone looking for great picture and sound out of box without professional installation and special mounting, wiring, etc. It is full HD, we did not find picture quality lacking in any way, don't see need for a 4K yet. Portability is a definite plus. I would not recommend moving it often since adjusting image shape and size could be annoying on a less than ideal surface. I definitely recommend this projector.

Awesome
Like with most projectors when the lights are on its kinna hard to see but it's a great projector. Userface is pretty easy to use if you are somewhat knowledgeable with technology. Not able to download Netflix on it however which kind of sucks. Not supported for some reason. Great picture quality, the built in sound is okay but for a bigger room it doesn't quite do the job.

Very bad experience - do not buy!
My experience with Epson support has been shocking. The projector keep having issues with the hdmi connection. Then suddenly one day projector stopped working. I contacted them repeatedly over several weeks because my LS300B projector is stuck in a boot loop with blue lights. All I asked for was basic help or the firmware file that could potentially fix the issue. Instead of offering any real support, they gave me the same useless answer every time: buy a new projector. They ignored multiple emails, never addressed the actual technical problem, and didn’t even bother to reply after my follow-ups. It’s unbelievable that a company selling premium electronics can’t provide a simple firmware file or basic troubleshooting guidance. At this point, it’s clear Epson support is more interested in pushing customers to purchase replacement units than actually helping solve a fixable issue. Very disappointing and a huge red flag for anyone considering their products.

Easy to setup, very good, bright, picture and the internal sound system works well. Good purchase if you are looking for all-in one system with no external speakers needed for your room.

Easy to set up, excellent remote control and absolutely unbelievable sound out of this unit. Highly recommended now that I see that it’s on sale at Amazon. Throw distance is a little misleading, however. Getting about a 65 inch picture from about 18 inches away. Do yourself a favour and get a good screen.

This is hands down the best picture I've seen. The colours are vibrant, Skin tones are excellent, HDR looks great. I've tried 4 PJ before this one. The optoma gt1090 HDR ( short throw ) the contrast was always lacking and the colours never looked right. The Benq st gaming projector. Witch was good but was dim in comparison. The optoma 1080 HDR gaming projector. Witch had the same issue as the 1090 but with elevated blacks. The ls 300 is really the best in my opinion for the money. Yes its almost 3k. But your getting basically a smart tv. With the latest android software. All the streaming services you can download. A good sounding speaker system that can produce a passible sound for the size. Excellent black levels when calibrated. Ease of use when it comes to the menu systems. 3600 lumens to the power of 3. Witch means 3600 lumens of white and 3600 of the 3 primary colours. So colours as mentioned above look vibrant and life like. I can safely say it compares to my iMac display. Not in sharpness. Since this is a retina display on a 27 inch. So the PPI is just ridiculous. Compared to a 1080p projector with no E-shift. But it can accept a 4k, HDR , 60fps signal no problem. The picture is clear and sharp. Some of the edges are a bit on the blurry side. But this is a common issue with all UST projectors. Even if your willing to pay 6k for LGs offering it will still have the same issues. To get the best picture possible. I suggest pairing this bad boy with a fixed frame screen, of your choosing. You can go the UST ALR with will cost you another 2k. Or a simple white one. If your willing to dim the lights to watch. VIVISTORM also have their line of motorized tab tension screens witch look amazing. But still are expensive. As for gaming it has a 50ms input lag. So suitable for casual to mid level gaming witch means 80% of all games work just fine. No competitive multiplayer like COD war zone. But really a monitor with less then 10ms of lag is ideal for that sort of thing. All in all I'm very happy with my purchase.
