Timex Men's Marlin Automatic 40mm Watch

Yes it’s a wild band! I wanted a fun watch as my first automatic. It’s all about what YOU appreciate! The actual watch is very nice. I wanted a different color case and dial but I got a steal of a deal on the gold. I payed very little for this but I would buy again for up to 150-200usd. It is a more noisy winding sound than usual autos if you are in a quiet room but don’t let that stop you, it isn’t a big deal. Quality seems great and the watch is simple and classy. I think if you can catch one that you want for like 150 or less then you have to!!!

This is my perfect dress watch. It has a minimalist, almost Bauhaus, look to it and it is an automatic for less than $200! If I could The only thing I would change about this watch is the face. If I had my druthers it would not have a date complication. However, I ordered it this way so I won’t let it affect the five star score. The champagne colored pearl finish on the face catches the light beautifully! And I love the hash-mark indices as well! This watch is well worth the money… If you have the means, I highly recommend you pick one up!

Watch is nice. Keeps time well enough. Rotor easily spins in the opposite direction though, and is very loud.

Got tried of replacing watch batteries in my older Citizen and Wenger (the worst for battery life). So... I decided to go back to the tried and true Timex and I do not regret it. Professional look, non-pinching band (though it is Chinese), a and a clear back (to see the Japanese movements). Love the watch but... curious as to why Timex does not make their own movements. While wearing it all day... I usually forget I have it on because it is so comfortable. Finally, the price is more than competitive for an automatic winding watch. Second hand is smooth and no "tic-toc" sounds- very quiet. Glad I switched back to this brand.

I originally wrote a 5-star review for this watch. It looks great and keeps great time. Unfortunately, I soon found that the acrylic dome scruffs very easily. It’s not like I was wearing it at some construction job; during COVID I am mostly at home. And it still manages to get scuffed. Having a plastic dome on a $250 watch is awful. I didn’t realize that when i bought it, but I sure do now. Returning it.

I’m really glad I bought this watch. They’ve done a great job doing a modern take on a classic design. The quality looks excellent and it’s absolutely worth the money. (The pictures show the watch with the included high quality Timex band and also some bands I already owned for a different watch)

This watch is amazing keeps perfect time.Looks like a watch twice the price, and keeps on ticking.I like the vintage Marlin of the past, but this one is my favorite. Automatic works great I have never wound it.

Beautiful watch. My 23 year old son loves it and it was a nice Christmas present. He did tell me at first that it keeps time well as long as it’s on his wrist, but when he sets it on a table or something for the night, it stops keeping time. He lives out of state so I can’t see it for myself and he did say that it seems to be ok now, but I was concerned so will keep track of it and write another review in a few months.

Me gustó mucho el tamaño, es el Primer automático que adquiero y se me hizo calidad Timex pero por el precio no lo valió , es bonito ligero elegante. Lo malo es ruidoso, parece de plástico y siento que después de 3 meses se romperá … pero como dicen da el gatazo pero por 3600 pesos creo que un orient sería Mejor
