Quick and easy to use too. I recently transitioned from corncob/walnut media in a vibrating brass cleaner to a wet/stainless steel tumbler to clean my reloading brass. Two reasons for this change: 1) The corncob/walnut dust mixed with lead in the air - not good to breathe in - and 2) Constant noise of the vibrator cleaner in my shop forced me out of the shop while running it. Wet cleaning in a tumbler eliminated both of these issues, HOWEVER, it was not initially easy or pleasant to separate out the stainless steel pins from the brass casings. Frustrating and a hassle. So I went on desertcart and found this Sluice Fox Magnetic Pickup Tool for $10.00 and Prime shipping. To use... simply lay out the contents from the cleaning tumbler bin on to a dry towel and pass the Sluice Fox Magnetic Pickup Tool over the combined materials. The magnet easily picks up the stainless steel pins and leaves the brass on the towel. Pull the plunger on the magnet and drop off the stainless steel pins into your bucket. In a few passes, all the the pins are separated from the brass casings. Easy. This magnet tool was A LOT smaller than I expected - it is very petite. It is also very powerful and can easily pick up 5 pounds of stainless steel pins out of the brass casing pile. I also liked the fact that it comes in a green color - fits in nicely with all of my RCBS reloading equipment! Highly recommended for use in separating stainless steel pins from brass casings during the brass cleaning process in reloading. Also great for finding dropped parts or screws on the shop floor. Highly recommended for the reloader or the shop!
