Ceramide Extreme Thickener + Gel Top Coat, Clear, 2 Count

I originally found this product on a department store shelf and ended up loving it so much I've repurchased and also bought it as gifts for other ladies. The orange bottle (the ceramide strengthener) is my holy Grail. My nails use to be paper thin and wouldn't break, but rather, they would shred. The top layers peeling off until they were non-existent and bleeding. Graphic I know. I started using this product and within a couple days I could already see my nails visibly growing back and thickening up. After a week, they had already reached the point of seeing the white tips starting to show and after about a month, they reached this length. (This is the length I prefer for my natural nails). My nails are incredibly strong now. I can hit them against things and they don't bend or peel or anything. If they do break (like the other day when I hit my pinky on the wall while trying to escape my toddlers room for the night) then it is a clean break that can easily be filed down with no additional damage and within a day or two, you can't even tell it happened. I use this product constantly, 2 coats under polish, and a layer over it. Or, on its own, 2 coats, then a new coat every other day. It dries within seconds too. By time I finish painting one hand, the other is already dry. As for the gel-like shine top coat. It's meh. Takes longer to dry and I don't feel it gives any better of a shine than the strengthener itself does but it came as a set so I'll still use it.

This is the greatest. I used to bite my nails and they became really thin and chipped. This product has helped a lot. I also purchased the Mvara stop nail biting product. It tastes really bad and I stopped biting my nails. The desire to quit was there also. I don't have a picture of my nails when I was biting them, but they were really bad. These pictures are soooo much better.

I have been using Nail Aid Ceramide Extreme Thickener for about 2 years. My natural nails are 1" long, and they stay that way thanks to this product. I use 2 coats for my base coat, then apply polish as usual. My manicures last until I remove them. Never chip, wear or peel (I use Mooncat polish). Orly does not chip or peel but does wear at the tip. I wish Amazon would stock the Thickener by itself, like they used to. I go through that twice as fast and the top coat.

I have 3 Nail-Aid products and they all appear to be basically the same product. The thickener requires at least 4 coats to add a thicker feel, but does seem to offer some added strength. The top coat does offer a nice shine. They all dry quickly and resist smudges and marks.
