Good, solid work boot
Like most work boots, these arrived stiff and not terrifically comfortable. After a few days, they were broken in, and are as comfortable as any work boot I've worn. So much so, that I would sometimes forget to take them off after getting home. These boots are rugged, and well constructed. All the seams are double stitched, and critical seams are triple stitched. The soles of the boot grip well even when wet, and the texture on the soles does not tend to pick up pebbles or debris. I appreciate the steel shank in the soles, too. Not only does this help with fatigue, but it makes standing on uneven ground much easier. I regularly have to climb/stand on steel beams that are only a couple of inches wide, and this kills my feet in anything that doesn't have a solid shank in the soles. If you do any work on ladders, etc., this is a feature you can't do without. I recommend you buy the replacement insoles with these boots when you order them. The insoles that come with it are fine, but I found they had just a bit less arch support than I'd like. I have average arches, and the replacement insoles fit me better. Also, the heel cup and footbed are just a bit better padded. They absorb hard impacts and fight fatigue better, but they're not spongy or unstable. The supplied insoles are still quite good, and I swap out and use them sometimes.

Great Boots and Comfortable! Cheap Laces
Comfortable Padding & Insoles, cheap quality boot laces. There is definitely some wear needed until these boots wear in a little and form to the feet. But generally they are much more comfortable right out of the box compared to my caterpillar brand boots. I just wish they came with softer fabric laces and not the stiff crappy laces. Other than that, no complaints!

Absolutely worth it – over 2.5 years of hard use
I bought these Carhartt boots in March 2023, and it’s now January 2026. After well over 2.5 years of real, hard work, they’re finally giving out—and honestly, that alone says everything. These boots have been through construction work, long days on my feet, rough terrain, weather, concrete, dirt, and daily abuse. The toe is finally worn through, but considering how long they lasted, I’m impressed. Most work boots I’ve owned barely make it a year. They were comfortable once broken in, offered solid protection, and held up far longer than I expected for the price. I bought them off Amazon, and I’d 100% buy them again without hesitation. If you’re looking for durable, reliable work boots that can actually handle real work and last years—not months—these are it.

Great pair of boots but not made for all weather conditions
Bought for my son who works outside in the mountains through all types of weather. Pros: look nice and the wear is comfortable. Cons: just one, durability I would have to give these boots a 3 star. They start falling apart within 3 months.

Very sturdy, comfortable and supportive.
I bought these to replace a pair of Timberland Pros which wore out way too soon. I work outside in CO and the ground is seldom level. Theses boots provide excellent side support (which the Timberlands did not do). They’re very comfortable and seem sturdy. So far I. Very impressed. I would recommend them.

More than standard boots
I like that these boots are comfortable although I recommend gradually breaking them in before working a full day in them. I appreciate the standards compliance for these boots. The steel toe is strong yet provides adequate room and be advised I went with the wide version. The sole seems thick and sturdy. I walked around a factory across liquid-covered surfaces for hours in these and did not have any problems although it is always important to be very careful on slippery floors. These are the best shoes I have ever owned.

Four months, and falling apart.
I've never written a review because I've generally been satisfied with my purchases. I purchased these 'work' boots four months ago and they are falling apart. I'm not in construction, but wanted something to protect my ankles from equipment that a move around and steel toes for protection. Work is indoors sorting packages mostly, and I walk on them just a few miles a day. If my work was more demanding like many who may read this review, these boots would've lasted a few weeks. Be warned. My previous boots were Doc Martin's steel toe, and they lasted several years before finally wearing out. I'll go back to them. Save your money.

Price Is Right
These boots were priced so incredibly well I could not pass that deal up, I believe when I purchased them that particular color was $49.99. My son goes through work boots a lot because of the work he does and so far they have held up great !!!

I like the boots. The fitting is great as it should. The quality seems also great. It is pretty comfortable to wear considering it is a steel-toe work boots. Like it a lot. I wear it everyday to work (in the office).

Good quality. I would say on par with or better then CAT boots, which i have using last 15 years. Decided to go this brand. We are paying premium tax for this product in india. Its not worth that much. I am very safety conscious due to my past experiences and injuries. Hence I pay and smile. After 6 months of using on cargo ships, the boots have survived quite well. The grip of the soles are very good I did not have any slipping issues on wet and smooth metal surfaces. The insoles have been upgraded to thicker ones since I need extra cushion. Rest overall no complaints.
