Number Dinosaur Game

Read what it really is. My fault I didnt. Thought it was a simple match 2 pictures game. Its not.

I love this game. It helps my child learn about quantities, as well as matching a number to a quantity of objects. It is a small box, with an adorable small wooden dinosaur and 20 number tiles. 10 have numerals and 10 have objects which match in number to the numerals cards. The numerals have a small illustration that also gives a hint as to the matching objects. For example, the number 9 is in a fishbowl, and the match is of course the card with 9 little fish. There are 5 dinosaur cards. If you turn over a dino card you get possession of the dino figure. Person with most dino cards at end wins. Our nearly 3 year old is just learning the concept here, so we leave all the tiles face up and just play letting him try and match what he can, and allowing him free play with everything. It's really helping and I see progress, and we're having fun! Well made and adorable illustrations. Very disappointed, looked too inexpensive to give as a gift.

These Haba games work so well with younger players. This game played very well with my 4 year old who got to be good at the counting as well as the memory aspects.

My daughter loves this game and playing with the tiles. Helps her work on her numbers and matching.
