Battery life is terrible!
My 2 year old loves this toy unfortunately the 4 AAA battery's only last 2 days. I bought rechargeable and have been annoyed recharging it so frequently but cheaper then disposable batteries. This toy is a money pit.

My son loves this truck!
The media could not be loaded. My son absolutely loves this little truck. He spends so much time putting different toys in the back and moving them around the house. We haven’t yet taken it outside, but we do plan to! It seems durable enough.Pros: Good size- not too big or too small. The remote also stores away in the bucket of the truck, which is nice. It was easy to figure out how to drive and battery installation was a breeze, even with a toddler looming over my shoulder waiting (lol).Cons: The truck is kind of noisy for inside play. It’s not terrible, but it’s louder than other drivable trucks/cars that we have. As someone else mentioned, it’s also a battery guzzler. I bought rechargeable batteries and that was a big help because we are replacing the batteries in both the truck and controller regularly. Lastly, the remote is almost perfectly circular, which makes it hard for little ones to figure out which side is “up”. Luckily, my son knows his shapes, so we tell him which shape button to push when his truck gets stuck.Overall, I would definitely recommend this truck! But especially if gifting, buy rechargeable batteries!

Super cute toy!
My nephew loves excavators so I got this for him to enjoy. This is the cutest toy! The remote can be stored on the back of it. It looks like a tire in the back of the toy. It is so easily driven. He is 3 and had no problems with it. This is a great toy!

Too cute!
I was very pleased with the CAT Construction Toys, Junior Crew Lil' Movers Remote Control Truck. It is a gift for a 5 year old who loves trucks. I went ahead and put batteries in it. It runs very well on hard surfaces and carpet. I can't say how long the batteries will last or how much rough play time it will take. But I think it will be a hit.

My 2 year old loves it but....
This is probably my 2 year old's favorite Christmas present. It's simple enough for him to use on his own, but this thing is a battery guzzler. Between the truck and the remote, it takes six AAA batteries. The truck and remote each have an on/off switch, and if you forget to turn one or both off, the batteries die so fast. We went through 12 AAA batteries since Christmas, and it's only the second week of January.
