Wooden bread lame.
Easy to use but I still worry about slicing my finger when I am trying to open or close the disc. Does make it easy to score my sourdough and I actually have a nice design now. Blades are very thin but that is pretty much the norm for any lames that I have used. Comes with plenty of blades to change them out. Also comes with little finger protectors but these slip and just get in my way so I usually don't even bother with them. Very comfortable in my hand while scoring.

The only little blade you’ll ever need for your sourdough.
Love it! Scores bread nicely, so easy to swap out the blades! My sourdough masterpieces are so easy to make with this tool.

Bread lame
I really like this round handle to score my sourdough loaves. It gives me more control and better scores. It’s easy to change the blade when it gets dull as well. Just simply unscrew and use the cut proof finger glove that is included in the package.

Blade isn't secure
The blade won't stay secure regardless of how tight you try to screw the 2 wooden pieces together. The blade moves as soon as you attempt to score your bread. There's no way to hold the blade in place. 0 stars. I wouldn't recommend.

First Time
After failed attempts with knives and scoring I decided to purchase these. They are super sharp which scares me to remove or replace the blades. It was a bit awkward while trying to not cut myself. I encourage using special gloves or towel to be careful. The install/replacement process is the only reason for 4 stars . Otherwise it's easy and improved my bread skills!

Great Tool
This is a great tool for making those iconic designs on your sourdough bread It’s light weight and fits perfectly in your hand and with the blade protection it makes it easy to use and the design makes it more comfortable in your hand rather than those blades with the long handles!!!! I will be purchasing again!!

Could be improved
Good quality,one issue I find is its edges are super smooth and slick.I am taking the drummer to it and adding some grooves to the edges to add some grip for easier opening and closing,Manufacturer should implement this for safety purposes.The cutproof fingure gloves just make it harder to handle,they too are too smooth.

Perfect for sourdough
Plenty of blades, easy to install the blade, looks like quality material, easy and safe storage, worked well for scoring bread as intended.
