Good product

This beautifully colored salt is perfect for adding on top of foods. The granules are just the right size, not too small or big, and the taste will make your foods sing with umami.

Fair price

I had no idea that there were so many "issues" to be pursued regarding simple salt. I must be a very simple individual because I wanted pink salt because it's pretty. And salty. And reasonably priced, please. This item meets all of those qualifications nicely. I have to confess that it wasn't exactly what I wanted. I intended to buy coarse salt for use in my classy salt grinder. But oops-- bought this "fine" salt instead. But I think it will go into my grinder without sifting through, which means that its particles aren't as fine as ordinary table salt. In fact, I think they have approximately the consistency of fresh-ground salt (which, as I have said, is classy.) It may not be the exact shade of pink that you expected, but it's pink. In a world where we can choose pink salt because it's pretty, or where the consistency of our table salt even comes up in conversation-- life is pretty darned good for us. That's my philosophy.

After researching the many benefits of Himalayan pink salt I decided for the health benefits, I would be replacing salt in our home with the Himalayan pink salt. I began to look for the item in local health food shops and grocery stores. I was so disappointed to find that only a small grinder of the salt was around $8 at Walmart - that was the lowest price I could find. After almost giving up on being able to afford the health benefits of this, I decided to look to Amazon and thankfully I came across this item. The price is amazing, the flavor is much better in my opinion than kosher salt or table salt, especially when used to season vegetables or meats and IT IS SO DARN PRETTY! I love that this bag comes with a resealable lock for easy storage and that this is an organic, non-gmo, kosher, responsibly sourced product with no fillers. I absolutely recommend this household necessity to anyone who is health conscious, looking to be healthier, or anyone who bakes or cooks.
