Good reel great price

I used to fish for Daiwa, I Charter, it's good reel for live bait! I have 5.

Excellent

Excellent value for bite and run feature. Bought the reel after a fish pulled my rod and reel in the water fishing along the rock jetties. Luckily, I recovered the rod and reel after blind casting the area trying to snag it for 20 minutes. Landed the fish that pulled it in as well. First day of use I hooked 3 of 4 bites using the bite and run feature while the rod was resting on the rocks. Surely saved my rod and reel from going for a swim again. Reel feels very well built, has a nice rubber grip handle, and a powerful and smooth drag. No complaints, I’m going to buy another one. Did I mention it comes with an extra spool??? Loaded the reel with 20lb JBraid. Excellent value.

I’ve had this for about a year, multiple trips inshore saltwater fishing without much maintenance and it’s been doing great and still super smooth unlike my Daiwa fuego. The only bad thing about it is : the spool is small and doesn’t hold a lot of line , I currently have the 3000 series with 30 lb braid and it helped me land a large black drum. Good workhorse reel
