Had to revise my original review. After using while puzzling it did become quite USEFUL! I’d buy again. Great for lifting, magnifier….so so. I’ve come to realize it’s the light that’s more important to my puzzling, along with the magnifier and this isn’t it. The light is virtually nonexistent. The quest continues. LONG SIGH…..

Can't live wout this. Wish I found this years ago. a "Light" button too. When you place pieces it's a magnifying glass to see better. Love that option.

I must not have looked closely enough at the dimensions. This thing is tiiiiiiny--the actual surface area for moving pieces or viewing them is 4-1/2"x 4", with a short handle (4"). I have small hands so can deal with it, but doesn't reach very far. And probably not great for larger hands, but perfect for kids. With such a small surface area, can't move a very big section at once with the plastic "scoop" section. For looking a little more closely at pieces, though, the magnifying lens is helpful, again, just small. The light takes 3 LR44 batteries, which it comes with, but will need to be replaced at some point. Three is a lot for such a tiny light. But the light is pretty bright and I love the idea. A larger size overall would make it a more useful product.

I love my puzzle scoop! The light on it helps me to see the design on the pieces better. The magnifier helps me to be able to see if a piece fits perfectly or not. It is easy to scoop up a section of puzzle and move it with this scoop.

If you enjoyed yourself puzzles, you should add this to your collection. It magnifies the piece very well and the light is very bright. Plus it makes it easy to scoop up the pieces and place the puzzles in a new location.
