Works perfectly fishing pan sized fish <20" from kayak. I was concerned by some reviews stating the holes in net are too large and small fish can slip through. Large holes have proven to make it easier to remove lure hooks without catching in net. Only the very smallest brook trout could slip through net and they are going back anyway. Soft rubber feel net cradles fish so you do not have to handle. Very happy with purchase. Would recommend to friends looking for a good product at a reasonable price.

Works like it is supposed to. I was a little concerned about the size of this net but it turned out just right for trout. I specifically bought this net because of the magnet that attaches at the top and the clip with strap at the bottom. I’ve lost nets in rapid moving rivers because there was no attachment to secure the net.

Magnet is strong and precise...the elastic band is long enough that you don’t need to detach it from your waders... the build quality is very nice

The magnetic keeper that allows you to attach to your waders or vest is awesome, very strong. The net is resistant to getting a hook stuck. Appears to be constructed well.

We bought two of these to replace our thin-meshed nets that only best at getting tangled in our hooks.Thus far we have used them to net rainbow trout, flounder, redfish, and speckled trout and they have worked great. I except if you hook something really big the size might be a problem but I suppose that's a good problem, right?

The net was missing the magnetic release that was supposed to be included. Not worth the hassle to return for replacement

I don't like nets, but figured it was more humane with one. Since buying it, I have broken my line more times than I have all last year, mostly because I am fumbling with the net, and holding my line. Oops. Not the net's fault.

I do like the whole set up but it didn't come with the clip for the magnet and strap like it says it does little disappoint with Amazon told them that is was missing it and they said all they can do is refund it and I would have to send it back
