The Spice Way Basil Leaves - (3 oz) pure dried basil seasoning leaves

I’ve always maintained that basil is one of the herbs that is not good dried. Well, I stand corrected. Yes, fresh is best, but it’s very expensive in the colder months. This has amazing aroma and a good, strong basil flavor. This is so good that I will use the remaining basil from my garden to make basil salt. Spice Way produces some very good herbs, and I could not do as good a job drying basil at home.

I used to buy fresh. This smell gets you right away. These are organic and taste great. Closest to my right out of the garden herbs. The size of the package is perfect and the cost is where it should be. Easy to open and to reseal. better taste than the one I used to buy. Totally top line quality and value. I still keep my Basil plant in the kitchen but no longer dry the leaves.

I was always a little leary about purchasing herbs on the internet. worried about expiration dates, freshness, quality, etc. I thought just once I would give this one a try. I have to say I am very impressed with this product. At first I thought the price was a little high, I decided to try it anyway. When I opened my box and saw this silver package of basil, all I said was, oh wow. I was pretty surprised to see the generous size. It smells great, taste great, Its fresh. So worth it. I love cooking with herbs. Basil is one if my favorites. This one did not dissapoint.

I needed to order several spices that I generally don't get every month , I need specific ones that are fresh and in a larger size and basil was one I needed. The price seemed good , this brand has decent reviews so I gave it a try and when it arrived I was very happy with it. The packaging is great , I can reseal what I don't need to make my special mix right now , the leaves were fresh and I could smell the aroma of the basil like it was fresh from the fields. I did make my special mix and I do believe it came out better than ever , the taste of the foods I prepared with it were delicious , I was told. I needed all new spices and herbs as all mine were run out or just getting too old. It really makes a difference when you use fresh spices and the cost was reasonable for the larger size bag and it seal back up airtight. I will buy all the spices I need from this brand when I need more. I did get Happy Belly and those are awesome too, but this Basil was really fresh.

I always like spice way; they provide generous amounts and the herbs and spices are well packaged. With some vendors, green herbs are not properly dried and do not smell fresh. This is nice and fresh as always and I will purchase again when needed.

This is a blend of miscellaneous reject herbs from a third world country.

The Spice Way has become my go to spice company. I get most of all my spices from them now.
