Since my amp is 15 feet away from my listening spot I got a 25 foot cable so I can have my X3 right next to me without needing to go to amp area to control it. This setup is still what I am using. However, it got into my head one day that if my little original patch cord ever fails, it would suck to not have a replacement on hand. After searching FiiO’s website and learning they do not sell a replacement cable that matches the original 4.5 inch version, the L21 was the only logical option. All I need to use, should it become necessary to use the L21 cable, is an RCA coupler. To make a verbose review a bit verboser - this cable works like FiiO made it to work!

FiiO product for FiiO products!

Does not work with FiiO Alpen 2.
Cable quality looks decent. However, it does not work on a FiiO Alpen 2.

It works perfectly on my FiiO X5 II
It works perfectly on my FiiO X5 II. I use it to output my FiiO X5 II to my home amplifier. First It was no sound came out. Then I figured out that you have to go to the System setting/ Multifunctional outputs/, select Coax out. Now you will hear the pure crystal sound come out! This is the official accessory that recommended for X3 II, X5 II and X7 (not for other models) on the FiiO's website. Trust it.

Does not work with Fiio x3 II
I have a Fiio x3 II, and this cable does not work. I tried plugging it into a Schiit dac and a Oppo 205. No sound. Tried using the cable that came with the Fiio and sound. This is running the coax out from the Fiio to the coax in on both the Schiit dac and the Oppo dac. I suspect the problem is the end of the cord that plugs into the coax in on the dacs, I don't think it fits snug enough. Junk.

Very basic cheap cable!
Does exactly what you want it to do for a digital Fiio connection. I use it with my M11 on my stereo and it works great. It’s not a high quality build...it’s built just enough not to get fired.

Estupendo servicio por parte de Zococity y un cable estupendo que ha resuelto un problema de conexión de aparente difícil solución. No hay muchos cables coaxiales con salidas RCA y 3,5 y en Zococity lo tenían y a un precio increible. Así pues 5 estrellas para todos, cable, Zococity y Amazon y mi agradecimiento.
