Beautiful, rich colours, easy to layer. The brushes left much to be desired. Some had so much wax on them that I could not get it off. So, they were not useful. The sponges are okay, but nothing special. The paint, however, is just excellent. I do like that each color pot can be removed from the tray.It arrived quickly from the time ordered.

When I was a child I would have gone wild for these, I bought them for the large pallet but I would definitely buy these for a young beginner

I bought this as a gift for my mother, who was just starting to water paint. She loves it, easy to use and reliable products in the kit.

First time using watercolors, found it easy to use. Colors are vibrant, but most of my grey scale came wrong as tones of blues, browns and purple. Most other colors aren't a perfect match with the scale provided, but still great colors!

When the paint set arrived, there were duplicates of colors and the paints were completely out of order. A majority of the paints colors were off as well. Huge bummer, but otherwise it’s a nice beginner friendly set.

some pots were misnumbered, and some colors were completely wrong, such as silver being a midnight purple

I am an elementary school art teacher and I bought this as a lightening deal. The paint itself is student quality, but the packaging design is horrible. The color guide on the lid mathmatically does not match the layout. Plus the colors are not in number order. I also received 2 of the same color. I am not going to return it just becuase the one color I am missing is not one I would use a lot of. Also the pans easily come out and sometimes stick to the lid if you dont let it dry first. If you don't care about the layout or the color guide on the lid, and you can get it on sale like a lightning deal, then I say this is a good set. For example most of my elementary students won't actually read the lid. If they see a pink, they will just put their brush in it. I can see this being good for homeschooling.
