The TSI Supercool A/C Comp Lube with UV Dye (P46-8D) is a high-quality lubricant that performs exactly as advertised. It provides excellent lubrication for A/C compressor systems while also including a UV dye for easy leak detection. The red/yellow tint makes it easy to see when charging, and the 8 oz. size is convenient for multiple uses.

So far so good after vacuuming and recharging the A/C on my 2006 Jeep Wrangler. The 8-ounce bottle was plenty, more than I needed, which was good because I spilled some of it as I was figuring out how to use the oil injector tool, a bit of a learning curve. I had never vacuumed down and recharged an automotive A/C system before. With the proper tools, it's an easy job for the DIY in you. After a week of constant use in nearly 100-degree heat, the A/C is still going strong and works perfectly. Pro: + This 8-ounce bottle, even including the cost of the injector, which was purchased separately, is more cost-effective than the little cans of R134a & oil mix. + This 8-ounce bottle is less expensive than the equivalent product found at the Auto parts store. The big-box store only had the more expensive R134a & oil mix cans. + The bottle can be capped off, and the remainder can be used for another job. + The bottle is clear, so you can see how much is left. Cons: - nothing so far I have one more vehicle that needs a bit of A/C work. Purchasing the gear, including the gauges, adapters, vacuum pump, oil injector, and this oil is still less expensive than taking it to the shop.

Worked great with my UV light to identify a small leak that was proving difficult to locate. This removed all of the guesswork.

My car is getting old, and A/C problems are starting to occur. I just replaced my condenser and added 1.5oz of this, not only to maintain the oil level, but to help me diagnose problems and leaks that might occur in the future.
