worked great on canopy legs in gusty wind at music festival
I didn't even know this product existed, but it worked great on my recent trip to a music festival campground. At home, I distributed 2 bags of play sand from (big orange store) between the four bags, and I used heavy trash bags as liners to keep the sand inside. The canopy didn't blow away in 30 mph gusts. The weight of the bags holds the canopy legs DOWN. Fortunately, I was able to drive stakes to keep the legs from scooting along the ground, because the bags are not as effective for that. (On previous trips to this property I was not able to drive stakes.). More weight would help, and I may look at other ways to increase sliding friction between the bag and the ground. Bags seem durable and well made. Note that some variations of the product have zippers at the top, but mine had flat velcro on the top.

Excellent Quality and Price
We purchased this item to secure a 10x10 canopy that covers our BBQ and smoker setup. The quality appears excellent and the zipper top closures are an important feature. We filled them with pea gravel. You will need just shy of three full three bags from your local HD or other store. That stuff is less than $6 per bag. It is much easier than sand. The staps work very well for securing the bags to the canopy poles. They should last much longer than velcro ones.

PERFECT if you can lift them!
We've used these for 3 years at a variety of vendor events and the first bag of the four just started to rip this year. We ordered another set and will just replace individual bags as needed. We filled each section of the bags with a jumbo zip lock bag full of sand topped with a quart bag full of sand. They probably weigh about 44 lbs each. We've had no issues at all with leakage, moisture/mold, or bugs. They've been perfect weights for our 10x10 canopy in the Kansas wind and have withstood up to at least 35 mph gusts. While other vendors are hanging onto their canopies to keep them from blowing away, we're free to engage with community members. We've had many other vendors ask us for the link to these. The way these weights rest against and wrap around the canopy legs provides additional stability compared to the weights that sit beside the legs and velcro on. The one catch to all this is that you have to be able to lift 44 lbs. It's easier on your body and the bags if you make sure the buckles are fully tightened around each bag before moving them. That prevents the seams from ripping from torsion.

Carry and handle with care
I like the quality and size for my pop-up tents but the handle to carry does not support the weight of the bags without ripping off. Just my experience is to carry the bags without the attached handle, do drop them or they will bust open, line with a garbage bag or line with the bag the sand came in.

Have something you need to hold down - get these!
We live in a very windy area in the Columbia Basin in the PNW. So far so good, our gazebo hasn’t taken flight :) Stable, durable and easy to use. In fact, we’re going through a little wind storm right as I write this, with 35-40mph gusts and our gazebo hasn’t moved. I will update later if we find the bags are not durable. We chose these because they close with a zipper. I had read other reviews about sand/weighted bags that close with Velcro and people had issues with that type and said they wished they had spent a few more bucks and bought something of higher quality. We didn’t want to make that mistake, so we bought these, a little higher priced than some, but worth it. The bags are fairly large, but I wasn’t sure if they would really hold 60lbs of sand and they do! We bought 4, 60lb bags of sand and the bags are full. We spilled some filling the bags, and there is room leftover for the full amount of sand .Tip** We should’ve filled the bags on a tarp or in a large storage bin to catch the spilled sand, and not waste any. As you can see we have a very large and heavy gazebo/canopy with large legs, and the straps fit around everything. I put a can of sun block next to the leg, so you can see how wide the legs are. These bags would also fit a pop-up style canopy, the straps are adjustable and could be cinched down. The handle is also very durable. I also showed a pic that there is a riveted hole to stake them down. **I will update if there are any issues in the future. So if you don’t see anything we’ve had no problems with them and they’ve held up, and our gazebo hasn’t flown away. Lol ***We did not receive these for free - I’m not sure about you, but I never really trust those reviews.

Big bag, ready to hold 50lbs.
They are BIG, but that’s because they hold 50lbs. It’s a combination of two compartments with a zipper and a very sturdy clip belt. It is well made, strong, easy to move, and easy to use with my market tent. I recommend using a good plastic bag inside these for ease of adding and removing sand or pebbles.

Good quality.
I ordered the 240lbs, 60lbs each. Filled them with playsand from home depot and also used dirt liner bags 14x26inch. Everything came out perfect. The purpose of this purchase is to comply with NYC 40lbs per corner minimum on a 10x10 canopy for street fairs. I have that now and plenty extra incase it's a windy day. 60lbs per corner. The fit was tight and zippers almost didn't close but I had a few tricks. I filled the liner bags inside the these bags and sprayed them down with a water bottle. Moisten the fabric up and let it sit for about 20 min. All said n done everything came out nice. Packed nice and tight.

Questionable Durability
Bought to replace an older set that was well worn and tapped. Was hoping they would be durable for day to day use. Got a rip in them before they were used. Just hauling them with a canopy and tables they were damaged. Durability is very questionable.

Perfect!
Straps to keep them around posts are right size adjustable compared to other brands I have tried.
