I feel like more people should know about this product. While the cartoon hair products for kids are cute. They dont appeal to me personally and they dont say they have my specific childs hair care in mind(i know that sounds nutty but hear me out) when i ever bought a product for children off the shelves it always dried out my daughters hair like the Sahara and made it to where i would have to put an adult leave in conditioner and i feel like she deserved something a little gentler for her little head. I must say my daughters hair has always been pretty curly and fine although everything i have use has dried her hair and made it extremly frizzy to where her poor hair looked like a hot mess with almost no curl no matter how hard i tried (pic 1) and pic 2s how her hair looks while using only this product and my normal hask adult shampoo. I will let yall see the results and as u can see it didnt completely eradicate her frizz but it did help with smoothing it out. And a big plus in my book is the cabbage patch doll inspired scent. That brought back so many memories for me and even though the scent doesnt hit it square on the nose as an exact replica you know what it is once you get a wiff. And the scent does linger for a few and can be quite strong at first depending on how much you have to use but it does go away in a timely manner. The last thing i wanna say is i understand your worries on the price and although my child is only 2 i only have to use a half a pump for her whole head so this will last a good long while for us and with all the testing done on it i trust this product and the ingredient list is pretty small. So i will be purchasing the shampoo and conditioner combo and let yall know how that works. Also i wanted something pretty lightweight and this did good for her you just have to play around a little with the amount you put in cause it can also act as a heavy lotion like consistency if you need alot of hydration or if you have more of a coarse hair texture that needs a little boost Overall i know this was long winded but my verdict is this is a good quality product that deserves more recognition then it has received and i will be buying this product as long as she keeps making them🤗❤ fingers crossed the shampoo and conditioner work just as good!

We first discovered this product on a trip to the New York City American girl doll store salon, where this is the product of choice they use there. Well if it’s good enough for American girl, it was certainly good enough for us! Personally, I think the scent is too strong and the cream is too sticky, but my daughters love it. We use it in their hair every morning and it certainly keeps things in place. It’s particularly effective if you put it in your hair prior to using a curling iron or straightener.

I was very torn when deciding on a product for my daughters curly hair. I wanted to try and preserve her beautiful natural curls that go flat during the day without product. I was torn because of the price point, but after doing my research I felt most comfortable with this product. The smell is so light and sweet in my opinion and the cream easily spreads throughout the hair making it so soft and locking in curls like I wanted. This serum is also very handy when I am putting in hair do’s making the hair easier to work with in my opinion. I absolutely will purchase this again!

I got an email asking to write a review shortly after purchasing this product but when I tried searching for for it on the Amazon app it wouldn’t show up until I googled it & reason being is because it is currently out of stock. I AM SO HAPPY I PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT BEFORE IT SOLD OUT! I have been desperately searching for good hair care products for my 1 year old daughter who is Dominican & Irish. She has very tight curly hair. I shampoo her hair maybe every 7-9 days and I apply this serum after every shampoo and it keeps her curls perfectly intact and mositured until the next shampoo. Sometimes I use a spray bottle with water to lightly dampen her hair to reapply the serum during the week only because the serum smells ridiculously good & it doesn’t leave any type of residue either so it won’t way down the curls either. Everyone always comments on how good her hair smells.

My 3 year old daughter's hair is a mess, especially with humidity! It's fairly long, but fine and wavy/curly. I had tried several different child-friendly hair products, but Hot Tot products were highly recommended to me in a Mom Chat Group I'm a part of on Facebook. I'm really happy I splurged on this serum and the detangler. THE PRODUCTS SMELL AWESOME and I can honestly tell a BIG difference in her hair which is now softer, tamed, and much more manageable. I'm definitely going to be buying the shampoo and conditioner in the future. I just wish these products were offered with Prime shipping Amazon because it did take a week to arrive from the seller! *Interesting trivia: The inventor/owner of these products got her business boost after appearing on the TV show Shark Tank, where entrepreneur and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban invested in the business.

Arrived today. Looking forward to using but the pump doesn't work AT ALL, and what's inside appears to be more a lotion or cream of some sort than a serum. Not sure what to think. Do I dare even use it on my hair? UPDATE: Okay, I ordered this product because my formerly thick hair has become very fine, and there were other reviews raving about using it in adult hair. I used it this morning. I had to turn the bottle upside down and pound a dollop into my palm because the pump did not work at all. The product that came out was very thick and rather sticky-feeling. It did NOT moisturize my curls, nor did it enhance them in any way. The ends of my hair that are normally corkscrew curly and bouncy are almost straight and very dried out. Don't waste your money.

Although this product does make my baby's curls look great, no frizz and keeps her hair really smooth .. I only have three stars because the scent of the product is nice but it's so strong she sneezes the second I put it in her hair.. Also the product is more of a cream than a serum I was expecting something a little lighter as I think the best results are on wet hair.. To help tame a random fly away i need to re wet hair or else it kind of makes dry hair goopy and stick together.. I wish they made an unscented or less strong fragrance version

This works great on my baby girl's head full of hair. Her hair is super curly when wet, but just dries crazy. Using the Sweet Pea Serum helps it look smoother and defines the curls. It also helps hold her hair in place when smoothing it into a ponytail. I'm so glad it's natural since I hated to put products in my 5 month old's hair. I didn't think it smelled like Cabbage Patch Kids though, maybe mine dolls smelled different. :)
