Solid Performance and Great Quality – Works Just as Advertised
I recently picked up the UGREEN USB C SD Card Reader, and I’m really pleased with the quality and performance. It works just as advertised, providing quick and reliable data transfer for TF, SD, Micro SD, SDXC, and SDHC cards. I’ve used it with my iPhone 16, Samsung Galaxy, and MacBook, and it connected smoothly with no issues. The build quality is excellent—well-constructed, compact, and lightweight, making it easy to carry around and use on the go. I’ve tested it with various memory cards, and it’s handled all of them without any problems. It’s also compatible with my iPad and even my trail game camera, so it’s a versatile tool for anyone who needs to transfer files across multiple devices. Overall, this USB C SD Card Reader from UGREEN is a solid choice if you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality reader that works across different platforms. It’s compact, durable, and performs exactly as expected, making it a great addition to my tech setup.

Small and fast
Works with my Windows laptop and iPad Air 4. Truth be told, the limiting factor is the speed of the 64GB Sandisk Extreme memory cards that I use. I've seen read speeds as high as ~140 MB/s and write speeds of ~60 MB/s which is the fastest I've ever been able to read and write to those cards. My previous reader topped out @ ~90 MB/s reads and ~45 MB/s writes. A solid little unit to pack with you when you need to get files on (and off) fast.

A Good SD Card Reader for SD Micro cards
The micro SD card reader looks well designed and works well. Most laptops have the usual connections for cables but few have slots for both MicroSD cards and/or SD Cards. This card reader solves the problem for those units without the card slots. It works very well but was not tested to see if it would work for many card changes. For most users it should be just fine for the times when you want to download software or images to the computer.

Memory Meets Magnetism
This 2-in-1 card reader is like the matchmaker your SD cards have been waiting for, connecting effortlessly with a variety of devices including my iPhone 15, Samsung Galaxy, MacBook, and even my Trail Game Camera. The compatibility is impressive, handling everything from Micro SD to TF SD and SDXC/SDHC cards with ease. The sleek design and sturdy build make it a reliable companion for both everyday use and on-the-go adventures. Whether I’m transferring photos from my camera, syncing files from my phone, or backing up important documents, this card reader makes the process smooth and hassle-free. The plug-and-play functionality means no complicated setups or drivers required – just plug it in and go. The fast data transfer speeds ensure that my files move swiftly, saving me time and frustration during busy days. However, the compact size can sometimes make it easy to misplace, so keeping it in a dedicated spot is essential to prevent it from vanishing like socks in the laundry. Additionally, while it’s compatible with a wide range of devices, ensuring the correct orientation when plugging it in can sometimes be a bit finicky – a minor annoyance in an otherwise stellar product. Overall, the UGREEN USB C SD Card Reader is a must-have for anyone who regularly works with SD cards and multiple devices. It’s efficient, versatile, and incredibly user-friendly, making file transfers a breeze. A solid 5-star rating for its compatibility, speed, and sleek design. Highly recommend for anyone looking to streamline their data management and ensure their files are always accessible!

Easier to import pictures, great product
I do photography on the side and a lot of the clients want pictures as fast as possible (understandably) and this is great for it. I just put my memory card in and plug it up to my phone and edit in Lightroom from there! It was a little difficult to figure out at first for the phone, but once I figured out to go into files and then browse for the adapter it was so easy to just send all the pictures to my phone.

False advertising
It says in multiple areas that the supports transfer speeds of up to 5 gigabits per second. When you open the manual it says it supports that, but it only supports reading cards at up to 140 MB/s. Considering the only thing that this unit does is read cards, that would make the transfer speed 140MB/s. Approx 1/35 of the advertised speed. Sure, USB 3.0 is capable of that, but just because you have a USB 3.0 connector does not make your device capable of those speeds. That being said, if you have a UHS 2 or UHS 3 micro SD card then you'll be stuck wondering why your capped at 140MB/s.
