Pfaltzgraff Grayson 16-Piece Stoneware Dinnerware Set, Service for 4

This is nice heavy duty dinnerware set. The bowls and cups are nice and deep and the colors were exactly as pictured. Matches my new home very nicely. I would recommend.

As mentioned in other reviews, they do chip, but not to the point of concern. Good weight to them, but not heavy by any means. The size of the plates, bowls, and cups is bigger than a lot of brands and it's GREAT! LOVE THEM!!

First, I think they look great. They are heavier than other dishes I've owned, so they seem to be sturdy, but already after 1 month two of them have developed chips on the outer edges. These are rather slippery in the dishwater when washing them, which is how one of the aforementioned chips first developed. Also, the outer finish is not as clingy as glaze finishes I've seen, resulting in poor plastic wrap adhesion, which I use mostly to cover my plates and bowls when using the microwave.

I love the simple design and color combo of these dishes! They are a nice weight and seem to be good quality. The bowls are quite deep and don't stack well in the dishwasher, but that us not a huge deal for me. I am a bit bummed about the streaks my stainless steel leaves on the white. Again, not a big enough deal I would not buy them again... I am pleased!

If I could give it zero stars, I would!! I went with Pfaltzgraff because I had used their dishes for years and loved the quality, so I didn't hesitate this time either. I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am right now. I believe that I was sold a known defective set of dishes. Every piece is so rough on the bottom, that every piece will destroy the finish of whatever you put them on. There's at least one piece of dinner plate, bread/salad plate, bowl and cup, and actually, more than one of some, with glaze and/or color missing or the color was applied sloppy. I'm beginning to think that Amazon doesn't care a bit, that they're becoming known for defective/poor quality products or that they continue to allow sellers, known for crappy products, to continue to sell on Amazon. But hey, as long as Bezos is staying a BILLIONAIRE, he doesn't care if his customer base stops using Amazon. I mean, I could have gotten better quality at Walmart for less. And don't even get me started on the Pfaltzgraff silverware I bought. Like I said about the dishes, I could've gotten better quality, FOR LESS AT WALMART!

We were looking to replace our every day dishes and purchased this set. It came timely and was packed very well. It was also important that the dishes by microwave and dishwasher safe. The style and color is great.
