For the people that say the joysticks get stuck and show that on video reviews, there are two reasons for this. 1) Testing the sticks without the front controller cover in place will result in your joysticks getting stuck. Even the Xbox original sticks get stuck without the front cover in place. 2) If you over tighten the screws you can put too much pressure on the sticks and they can stick. I did tighten them a little too tight the first time I screwed them on. I eased up the screws a little and the sticks were fine. The tools this kit came with were great for getting the covers off, a pry tool and guitar pick. Installation was fairly easy. The toughest part was prying the back covers off. Also there is a hidden screw under the batteries. Xbox covered it with a label. It’s right in the center of that label, feel around and you can find a hole, I used the screwdriver to pierce through the label to get to the fifth screw to remove the front cover. I bought the light blue sticks with the grey pads to match my controller and the colors were a perfect match. My joysticks are working great and I would buy this product again!

Fix kids xbox one controllers easy enough

Apparently it is a pretty common issue with Xbox One controllers for the rubber to wear off or break off the ends of the two joysticks on Xbox One controllers. The joysticks are still usable when the rubberized tip comes off, but my son complained that it was harder to play. One of the joysticks on both controllers was messed up. These seem like a perfect fit and, when installed, the joysticks now work just like the originals. My son plays Xbox constantly and said they worked good as new. You do have to take apart the controller to replace these. You can watch Youtube! videos on how to do it. Replacing them is very easy EXCEPT removing two plastic covers on the controller. Those are not held on by screws but held on by plastic tabs. They take some working to get them off as you are trying to be careful not to break anything. After doing one controller, it was significantly easier to do the next. I didn't break any of the plastic tabs on either of the controllers. I was careful, but the plastic tabs must be less fragile than you would think. The kit comes with two plastic tools for removing those aforementioned plastic covers as well as the torx tool needed to remove 5 screws that have to be removed to replace the joysticks. Videos show this, but there is one screw behind a sticker under the battery compartment. I was able to do the repair using nothing but what the kit provided. This saved me money from having to buy new controllers and these joysticks really do work as good as new. Again, doing this is NOT hard, but it does take some work and patience to remove the plastic covers (to allow you to get to the screws). The tools that come with the kit make that easier. Removing the screws to get off the top cover of the controller and removing and replacing the actual joysticks is incredibly easy.

Will fit Gamesir Nova Lite. Left stick required a bit of breaking in because of the seam where the dome is welded. If you don't want to wait for the OEM fit, scuff up the seam with a finer grit sand paper (400-600) to level it out, and remember not to over tighten your pcb screws. Mind screw orientation as well - screw sizes varied on mine, and longer screws made the pcb flex adding more pressure to the cups making them stick). It doesn't show a gap even though the original stick's domes are a bit taller (shorter stem joining dome and thumb tip - dome 2-3mm taller). Correct depth of the hole where the hall sensor stick fits, and correct shape so no issues clicking the button and having it get stuck. The thumb tip has great texture but the circumference is smaller than original. Reminds me of Xbox One S Controllers. Hopefully they last longer than those did. I prefer smaller tips but others may vary. I'd give them 5 stars but they do have that seam on the cup which makes them less than perfect for my use case. Shipped on time, nice tools included, package was fine, saved me 12 bucks on a new controller since Gamesir doesn't sell parts for their controllers and I have spares.

I was initially concerned about how well this would work given other low-star reviews I saw, but decided to take the plunge. My findings are as follows: My kit did come with tools as advertised: Guitar pick spudger, double-ended clip popper, T8 screwdriver & T6 screwdriver The fitment of the new stick tops is perfect, HOWEVER they -do- appear to stick to corners if you try them with the controller faceplate off. This seems to just be an oddity with the analog sticks themselves, regardless of the stick covers they will 'stick' to the edges of their movement range if unrestricted. When you put the faceplate back on, they are restricted enough this is a non-issue and they function like normal. I say this is fine in my case because some people allegedly did not receive any tools and had fitment issues with the sticks so there may be a supply problem here. But, if you do get the correct kit, it works great!

The product itself comes with everything except instructions. Which is fine. Just YouTube a xbox one controller tear down video. 1 screw behind battery compartment. And 2 in each palm rest. The overall replacement process start to finish took 5 minutes. 2 minutes less than the video I was watching. I only needed 1 screw driver and the blue prybar. However I also have the same set of tools in my ifixit kit. But for the price it's great they include them for anyone needing to do this. The thumbs are a hardened rubber feel that feels just like it did new. Color matches my original shell and you would never know I had to do a thumbstick swap. Overall 10/10 would recommend. Especially if you hate aftermarket thumb stick covers.

My teething son chewed the rubber grips off the joysticks on my husbands remote. He was doubtful that these would fit/work as well as the originals. But we have no issues they fit Xbox one remote and saved the $$ of getting a new remote. Wouldn’t even be able to tell they are an after market replacement.

Overall, good replacement - probably just a manufacturing error - but 1 of the 6 new joysticks came without a rubber grip, it was just bare plastic. The other 5 were fine and instal was easy with the provided tools. Just cant give a 5 star review if 1/6th of the product was unusable

Reemplaze unos que estaban dañados, realmente es una segunda vida a tus controles, los recomiendo mucho.

Las tapas son de goma suave muy parecida a las originales que vienen con los controles, y son muy aguantadoras. Apenas cambié una y la he estado usando de forma constante y no se ha desgastado nada. Lo malo del kit son los accesorios que se sienten frágiles y de mala calidad.

Es de buena calidad y trae lo necesario para cambiar el stick ya que mis cubiertas se habían roto, al ser la primera vez que desarmo un control, estaba dejando los contactos de la batería por dentro, lo tuve que volver a desarmar para dejarlos como se debe.Se sienten muy bien. Lo recomiendo ya que trae 6 piezas.

Me llego quebrada la herramienta con la que sacas los plásticos de los controles (la palita) los joystick al venir todo junto junto a las herramientas vienen un poco raspados de la goma, así que aunque sean nuevos parecen ser usados
