The usual excellent quality from Boss, easy enough to use but quite complex to program. Very robust, should last forever.

A big step up from the rc30 , the rc500 delivers big time .Looping is easy and the sound quality is much improved. I use it on my solo set and works great. The onboard drums sound pretty good but that’s what I found the most time consuming and to be quit honest difficult . On my live set I use a beat buddy drum pedal and use the midi contriols in the settings which makes life a little easier. As a looper it couldn’t be more straightforward but as I’m not a drummer the beat buddy is a better option for what I do in a live situation..

Great for learning riffts etc great with the drums ... only down side I would recommend a mains unit for it ... so heavy on battery s ... but good product

Got this for live streaming and playing live. Already got a Donner Circle Looper but this is more robust and has more options to choose from. The manual is hard to get through, but there are plenty of YouTube vids to point you in the right direction. I’m using it most days and It’s a case of practice makes perfect. Getting there…!

I know there are some big name loopers out there, that are all the rage at the moment, but, They cost a lot more money. I was going to upgrade to 6 track looper but realised, playing only a couple of instruments at anyone time I actually only require 4 tracks. So then it became no brainer. I already own a Boss RC 500,which has been so good, why not just get another one and sync them, giving me 4 tracks. With the purchase of the required Boss midi cable, they work great together. Though the RC unit can be linked to other midi compatible looper brands, I decided any issues will be far less staying with Boss. The new Unit is just as Solid (performance and build), as you would expect. With the undo/redo function, I technically have eight tracks to play with! So it’s a viable option for all those out there that don’t have the cash to upgrade to a new, bigger looper, but already have one Boss RC500 unit that they are using. The huge amount you save balances out any frills you think you might be missing out on, on the bigger more costly loopers, in my opinion.

For my specific use, this pedal is basically perfect. However, it was a steep learning curve. A lot of the interface and navigation is very contrived and hard to figure out. So I needed to do a lot of research, experimentation and figuring things out. The process was fun. It's a fun piece of kit to use. And now I've programmed 50 tracks, when using for performance it works a dream. Requires a lot of work and head scratching to use effectively, but once it's set up it works a treat. I paired it with the Boss FS-5U so that I can have extra control. For example, I programmed it to stop/start the drum machine. When out and about busking, these are the only two pedals that I need

DO NOT BUY USED/REFURBISHED FROM AMAZON – This has been a painful lesson for me to learn. Spending so much on something that's faulty where there's no option now to return and get a replacement or refund. And it's almost impossible to get the manufacturer to help. Basically after months of confusion around why my guitar pick-up was getting fried twice in a row, I narrowed it down to this pedal. I guess the phantom power is 'ON' when it says it's 'OFF'. It seems I cannot do anything about this so just have to write off the spend and dispose of the pedal so it doesn't do this again. Don't make the same mistake!

Absolutely love it!! the sound quality of the loops is so much better than any other loop I've played, defo worth the buy if your wanting an update.

Questa Loop Station è tra le migliori in commercio. Per un uso elementare bastano pochi minuti, è molto intuitiva. Per approfondire ed entrare nei meandri delle sue mille funzioni ci vuole più tempo. Sarebbe stato bello se la BOSS avesse inserito un tutorial da qualche parte. Il prodotto è comunque fantastico. A livello di costo non è economica, ma vale i soldi richiesti. Personalmente ho potuto approfittare di un momento di sconto molto vantaggioso. Unica pecca, sarebbe il caso di fornire direttamente l'alimentatore, considerato il prezzo, non so se sia una questione di packaging, ma questa è l'unica cosa che stona. La consiglio a chi ha già un buon background sul proprio strumento, e non ai principianti.

Sehr gute Loopstation. Ist nach etwas Einarbeitebn sehr gut zu bedienen . Der Sound ist auch gut und die Anschlussmöglichkeiten ausreichend.

This is a sweet two track looper with some nice features if you're willing to dig into the user manual. My only complaint is it comes with four batteries and no AC adapter, but a $10 generic adapter works great. Boss is doing that with everything these days and I knew it going in, so I'm not going to complain about it. I was just a little concerned about this coming from the UK, but other than taking a couple of weeks to arrive, it's just perfect. Due to the exchange rate, the same (new) unit is much cheaper this way vs. one from a US source. I'm very happy with both the looper pedal and the $$$ saved by ordering from across the pond. Recommended!
