Hot Coffee 7 Hour Later !?
This coffee pot isn't very large, but brews just enough for 2 people to get a togo tumbler out of it every morning. This pot is amazing and keeps your coffee hot for hours; the coffee burner turns off when finished burning- so your coffee doesn't cook or burn in the carafe. NOTE that this carafe is built to keep your coffee hot, NOT TO POUR THE WATER INTO the pot to brew the coffee. I can't believe that was a consistent complaint about this coffee machine. Use a water pitcher, or a giant baking measuring cup to pour your water into the machine. So what if the the carafe isn't the ideal design with which to pour water into my coffee machine to brew. I much prefer the current design that keeps my coffee hot & even fresh-ish for OVER 7 HOURS!!! It definitely will taste fresh for 3-4 hours after brewing. This is a quality machine and a great buy!

Stays hot forever!
This is a great coffee maker! It only takes about 10 minutes to brew a full pot, which the product description said, but in my experience is rarely actually the case. The pot stays warm for hours - Even with only two cups in the carafe, it was still steaming four hours later. The controls are fairly straightforward and easy to operate. The only thing I would say is to pay attention to the fill line (something I did not do the first time) because there is a small overflow hole in the back of the machine above the "Max" line, and the water will spill out if you overfill it. The filter is easy to clean, and you have to depress the handle to pour the coffee, so accidental spills aren't an issue. Overall, it's a great device, with a great price!

Hard to beat for the price, and the thermal carafe keeps coffee warm for HOURS
It definitely does what it says on the box. Easy to use, fairly easy to clean, coffee tastes good to me. This is our first thermal carafe, and I don't know why we ever went with glass before. It brews straight into the sealed pot and then just stays hot for hours and hours. Even HALF a pot, five hours later, was still warm enough to drink. This is much better than leaving half a glass pot on a burner for hours, slowly boiling off the water and risking fires and using up electricity... once this machine is done making coffee, it shuts off. Cons: it's a bit noisy when brewing, making a few more burps and clunks than I'd like, but not terrible. For the price it's hard to complain. Also, mine seems to be missing two rubber "feet" off the bottom of the unit, but that's easy enough to get around with a bit of engineering and spare rubber mat material.

It's a lot of work
Pro This coffee maker is built very sturdy Con I have a measuring cup out on the counter to fill it up Con Unless you warm up the pot the coffee is luke warm at best. I don't know where people live that say it brews hot coffee but in the winter in michigan my thermostat goes down to 65 at night thus the pot gets cold Con I warm up the coffee pot at night and leave in hot water, meaning I can not use delay brew as I have to empty the water out every morning before brewing coffee. This way I at least have warm coffee Con the pad on the bottom is not heated meaning coffee gets cold before I finish Con There was a review saying they liked the fact that it has a permanent filter reducing their carbon foot print. I have to literally laugh out loud at that one as it takes more water to clean the filter meaning you use hot water thus increasing "foot print" In summary I have just went on line and bought the exact same Mr. Coffee that I previously had. So if anyone wants this I will sell it for $5 you pay shipping Bottom line is I wish I would have never bought. Wasted $50 I hope this helps someone, this is probably the 3rd or 4th time I have ever submitted a review out of hundreds of purchases. I was just so disappointed that I had to let folks know what they are buying.

So many features to love and brews great coffee! But the accompanying manual needs some help.
I've been looking for a reliable (and reasonably priced) brewing coffeepot since summer 2020. After hours of reading reviews on various models, I finally chose this one. My husband and I are very happy with our choice. The coffeepot looks sleek on our countertop to begin with. But it functions perfectly for our needs and makes great coffee, and that's most important. Everything is easy to clean. We both enjoy the clear area on the water reservoir that shows how much water we've put in. But our favorite part is the insulated carafe. Others' reviews stated how long their coffee stayed hot. And I do mean HOT. Believe them. Hours later, we poured more cups, and they were just as hot and fresh-tasting as when first-brewed. Two criticisms: (1) How to remove the lid of the carafe - in the accompanying manual, they should show (but they don't) how to twist the lid (and where) to get it off the top of the carafe. It took me quite a while to figure it out. One simple drawing/schematic would have greatly helped. (2) And they should have stated that the plastic measuring spoon was inside the carafe when you first get it. Someone wasn't thinking when they overlooked adding this information to the manual. Otherwise, we highly recommend this product.

Overall, am very pleased with this product. Keeps coffee warm all day. Simple programming, no useless bells and whistles, reusable filter.

Being down to 2 cups a day my HB Brewstation was way overkill. This was the only 8 cupper with a stainless carafe I could find. Having broken too many glass pots, I needed that. I figured paying a good buck for a solid product would be worth it. But it's not. As in the aforementioned critiques it's all true. First and foremost, luke warm coffee. I let my overnight temp drop to 17C here in BC and that may be a factor. With no electric warming plate that's what I get. I first tried with preheated pot, room temp water and still luke warm. And I am not about to give up getting up to pre made coffee. The Brewstation always has good, hot coffee waiting for up to 4 hours. Putting the water in is also a challenge. Turning the pot upside down to get the last cup out is also bogus. Also goes for cleaning the pot. The product is well made but I am mystified why they have not addressed these design flaws.

I should have read other reviews more carefully. It has design failure. if you can read other reviews, you can check what happened. You can get only 4 cups, and what happen other 4cups? It's in the Carafe, but hard to get it out. You need to make it upside down 180degree, but be careful, water could be from anywhere. I expect at least 2 hours warm, I though the power is on for 2 hours, but it shut off right away, it is not that warm after 2-3 hours. and hard to clean. One thing is that it is really fast, but I'm not sure it is good for flavor.

I searched a long time for a good coffee maker at an affordable price and finally found it. The opening in the carafe is too small to wash by hand (which is annoying) but a sponge brush does the trick. Other than that, it keeps coffee hot and works well. I don't like all the bells and whistles on most coffee makers that drive up the price and that I never use. This just makes good coffee, seems well built, and I'm quite happy with it so far.
