Doesn't matter if you are targeting 6 or 7 or 8 or 9 bands or an equivalent PTE or TOEFL score, this book will surely be very helpful. I have been through the book and the layout is great.The sample essays are really good in terms of language use and delivery of ideas. If followed, you are sure to get over 7 bands for sure. Add-ons, the list of prepositions & connectors are of great help especially in making those juicy complex sentences. I like the "Did you know" part where even a proficient language user may make a mistake unknowingly. The essay checklist is of a great help in understanding, in depth, the writing assessment criteria and tuning the essay accordingly to achieve the maximum possible writing score.

A great essay book for sure. The first version was great, this is even greater. The best thing about this book is it is for all. Well-organized book. It aided me to improve my ideas and enlarge my vocabulary range. I went through the IELTS exam first time and I got 4.5 at writing section. After I bought this book plus other books , I did the IELTS exam two months ago and I got score band 6 at writing. Thanks for the author and Amazon.
