Sturdy, smooth, and safe.
I'm a professional dog trainer, so I've worked with a lot of different collars and this martingale is the best of its kind I've ever used. Sturdy material, smooth action, good quality hardware. I really like that this collar has a quick release - that's an important safety feature for a martingale collar and most martingales don't have it. I like this collar so much I bought a second one for my other dog and I recommend it to my clients.

Love the vibrate purple. Has held up really really well.
Great product. From a previous dog trainer perspective it works well for correcting dog for leash walking. Purple looks awesome on my dog.

This is a great collar
I have these for my adult dogs but couldn't find one again until I found it here for my new puppy. The best part is that it has the quick snap buckle... most of the martingale collars I found did not and my dogs hate having a collar dragged over their heads to go on or off...plus it is easy for them to pull out of that type collar...This collar is very secure...they could NOT pull out of it...and they are pretty

Good for bigger dog.
This was too big for an 8 lb Chinese crested powder puff dog. Good quality though. Returned.

Bad measuring guide
This is at the small size tightest. My dog's neck perimeter is 8.75. So i bought the one for size 8-12 neck. But this does NOT, can NOT, fit a neck of 8.75" Her head perimeter is 10.5. This thing literally falls right off of her head at its tightest. The ad fails to mention that there is a 3.5" added to the collar size. It appears to be very bright and durable. However i won't know as I must return this one, and canceled the other one I ordered. I would tempt to buy the petites but I'm not sure of the fit. I will have to just find another collar Perhaps they need to update their sizing guide.

Great item, great price.
I just got this today and it’s already making a world of difference for my lil French Bulldog (small was great) who is learning to walk on a leash. He was like a bucking Bronco every time I tried attaching a leash on his last collar, and I was completely unwilling to tighten his collar to a point where he couldn’t back out of it. It would have been way too tight. He backs off from pulling quite quickly with this. I like that it only tightens to a point, not a full choke. And when he’s relaxed on the leash he’s rewarded with a nice comfy loose collar. I definitely recommend :)

This little buckle/ martingale collar is PERFECT for my 8 week old puppy.
I wanted a martingale collar, but this one has the advantage of having a buckle too. I also wanted one that will grow with my puppy, which this one will (as I can readjust it as he grows). I didn't evaluate it on stretch as it is not a stretchy material. Instead it is a well made collar that will no doubt last until he outgrows it. Then I'll get another in a larger size. Great value for this collar! It's hard to see the collar on this photo (due to his long coat), but it shows his size (about 10 lbs in this photo).

Good quality and reliable. Easy to fit and easy to get on and off. It does not stop my dog pulling, but it does give a bit more control when it does pull, and it also removes any possibility of slipping out of it's collar. I bought the 3/4" Small and it fits my dog perfectly. My dog is the size of a small working lab or a large show springer spaniel. This is a good buy.

After our dog managed to slip out of her body harness (and we still don't know how she managed that), we thought we'd try something different. I read that martingale collars don't choke or hurt dogs when they pull, so bought this one. We're very pleased with it. It works very well, and we've noticed that she pulls a bit less when using it than she did with the harness. Very easy to use and adjust, and it looks great on her too.

Collar quality seems fine, but the way these collars are measured is all wrong. Most martingales are measured when not cinched, so as if they're regular collars. I have a dog with a 9" neck, so I bought a size small which is 9-11". But these measurements are when cinched. The length of this collar at its smallest size, when not cinched (so when it's just loosely on her for walking - as they should be, if a dog isn't pulling) is 12.5" - WAY too big for a 9" neck. If it's not cinched and she puts her head down, it just falls right off, at its tightest setting. A martingale should be measured as collar length, not cinched length. You buy a martingale to fit your dog's neck size as a regular collar does and the cinch is that extra bit of protection against a dog slipping out, when needed. So a 9-11" martingale should fit a 9-11" neck, then have the ability to tighten further when cinched. I bought 2 collars at the same time from different sellers, both size small, both 9-11". The other one fits exactly as its supposed to. Unfortunately now I have to return this one and order another of the other kind. Fortunately customer service seems ok and returns appear quick and easy, other than an unexpected and inconvenient trip to the post office. If you're buying one of these collars, BUY IT SMALLER THAN YOU THINK YOU WILL NEED because the sizes listed are cinched size, not actual collar size.

Even though it is advertised to fit a small dog the 3/4 inch is actually too bulky for my smaller dog. I am using it to train him among walking on a loose leash and feel that too bulky a collar is a hindrance. Am still looking for a smaller collar with appropriate smaller buckles. This one is however well made for the right sized dog.

It was a little large when we first got it. She has grown into it quickly. Very good for controlled walks and stopping biting.
