Kind of amazing
I wasn’t expecting a $20 flash to do much, but I was happily surprised when testing it out. I bought this because I want a tiny flash that would fit in my backpocket for when I’m out and about, and a full speed light is too big to carry around. This flash is TINY and so easy to bring with you. It works great with my Sony A7. I also tested it with a Canon R with good results, as well as with various 35mm film cameras (a Canon A1 and a Nikon FE). You can’t change the flash brightness or angle, but it’s bright, easy to use, small, and compatible with every camera I’ve tested it on. I’m not sure how long the batteries last, but so far so good. Highly recommend as a little flash to carry with you.

Works well but use is limited
The flash works as expected and is quite powerful. However, since neither the flash output nor light direction can be adjusted, this flash is only useful if your camera has no built-in flash. That's fine, I use it with my Sony A7C (using it with A6000 makes no sense since this will be an equivalent of using the built-in flash set to +3.0 power). But since it's output is fixed at high power, you can't take a portrait shot at f/2.0, for example (unless you find a dimmer but then you can just carry a big adjustable flash instead). So, its use is limited to shots like a group of people at night (at f/5.6), a human figure in front of a sunset (at f/11), or macro shots (at f/11+ if you are OK with black background). What puzzles me is the overall flash design. They could have made it vertical, with the bulb at the top. Such flash will be similar in size and weight but will work better with bulkier lenses.

Not Good. Could have been, but it isn't.
What poor effort was put into the making of this flash. It's very lightly made. But it does flash, I'll give it that much. There is no automatic mode, I can live with that, but there is not even any instructions on what Guide number to use at what ISO/Distance. They could have added that to the instructions and Id keep it. But it's going back. BTW mine was a repack, so I'm not the only one that didn't like it. I looked for a website, found none. My plan was to use this on old 1950's - 1960's cameras. I was able to get nice images on my mirrorless, but by guessing, taking a shot and adjusting. I can't do that on film. Save your money, time, and mood and look for another brand.

Slave feature does not work. No Flash Aperture Calculator on Flash. Poor instructions
It's cheap, compact, and the hotshoe works. That's about all this flash has going for it. I bought it to use on my Rollei 35 (35mm film), but I have no idea what to set the aperture to for distances. Also, I can't tell if it's automatic. I see no sensor on the front so I assume it is purely manual. I would not have bought this knowing what I know now, but it was so cheap, I'm not going to bother returning it. Info online, like youtube, is limited and in non-english.

Powers up but no flash
This is an extremely cheaply made product. I got it, similarly as others, to have a smaller flash available when I'm out an about. The battery compartment is so badly designed you have to shove the battery in and to get it out required tapping it against something to force it out. After many tries of getting batteries in correctly, I finally got it to power up... but that's all it does. The buttons light up--pilot didn't work--slave didn't work. Spend the extra $40 to get something that will actually work. I have a gross piece of plastic as a paperweight. 0/10 would not recommend. Extremely poor quality and no flash at all.

I wanted to get this flash unit as a good back up to be used on my Olympus E- M10 Digital camera , The instructions are very sparse and the construction is what one would expect from China , cheap looking and sloppy, Upon attaching this unit to my cameras Hotshoe mount and firing it up discovered this flash doesn’t even work , I am disappointed with this unit and will definitely be returning this piece of junk for a refund of my money , my best advice to anyone considering buying this unit is ,,,,,, Don’t.
