MCS Plastic Format Frame for a 12x18" Photograph, Color; Black

I like the simple thin black border. Puts the emphasis on the picture, not the frame. Very easy to insert picture! My favorite frames.

What Can I Say? I truly love these frames. They are sturdy. They are ridiculously easy to load and they have REAL GLASS covering your precious photos / artwork. Plexiglass is safer in terms of break resistance, but plexiglass tends to yellow over time. Glass is more fragile, but does not yellow over time and gives your photos / artwork a more professional look, in my opinion. I have purchased over thirty 8 x 10 photo frames along with 8 1/2 x 11, 11 x 14, 11 x 17, 12 x 18, 13 x 19 and 16 x 20 frames. They have all served me well and I will continue to purchase them again and again. My only regret is that they don't make these in 18 x 24 or 24 x 36 sizes. Give these frames a try. I would truly be shocked if you found them to be lacking in quality or functionality for the money.

I really love this style of frame because it's so easy to put pictures in and looks really good. I bought 3 of this size on here and patiently awaited their arrival. It took awhile for them to ship but was happy to see that they used so much bubble wrap to keep them safe. Unfortunately they were slightly damaged. Each of them had a crack on the corner but they weren't too bad. I'm too lazy to send them back so I used some modeling glue on them and they are perfectly fine. All-in-all these are great frames but cracks made this review lose a star.

The frame was a perfect fit. It was easier to open and place the poster, due to being a front loading frame. Blick art materials stands behind their products. The frame was damaged upon receipt. Upon notification through Amazon, Mr. Blick personally responded and immediately sent a replacement within 4-days. That replacement frame was perfect!

I love these frames. They are easy to put together, light-weight and yet stable. They come on many sizes and are versatile. Even when the picture‘s size is out of the norm, they still look good in these frames. I replaced all my heavy old frames with these poster frames since my hands no longer do so well with heavy stuff;)

Love these frames! They are perfect for the artwork I get after the Cons I go to, makes the artwork pop. Very easy to put pictures in and hang up. The packaging alone shows they care about customers and their products. And if the glass still somehow breaks during shipping they are very fast in getting you a new one shipped out to you as fast as possible. I definitely recommend MCS frames.

In general I actually quite like these frames; they're simple, cheap, and great for standard prints you'd get at cons. However, the durability of these frames can fluctuate dramatically. I've had frames in the past break during shipping. I've had some that fall on the floor and be fine, and others whose shell cracks just by putting it together normally. Just today, I tried to put a print into the one I'm writing a review on, my most recent frame, and when I picked up the glass, a large shard of it just broke off completely. Luckily it wasn't sharp, or I probably could have cut my hand pretty bad. I'm a little worried about the QC if something like that can just happen. Overall they're decent budget frames, but you get what you pay for. If you buy them as frequently as I have, plan for at least some of them to be outright duds.
