eazypower attachment
Recieved item today. I got it home, took it out of the package, and put it on the ole drill. I will have to say that it was a little more durable than I expected. It did what I needed it to do, drill through 2x8's with no problem in a tight space. I would say that I drilled appx. 20 holes so far with no problems. It was well worth the money to do without the headache. I recommend it to anyone.

Offset for Drill
I recently had a need to rewire a house and that meant drilling holes in tight spaces to run the wiring through the walls. After looking at the cost of buying a 90 degree drill for a one time job, I decided to try this 90 degree attachment for my Milwaukee drill. I had about 35 holes to drill and thought this would do the job. This attachment worked perfectly! I had just enough room between the studs for this to fit in. I drilled 35 1 inch holes with absolutely no issues! If there was anything at all, it was just that you needed to get used to the idea that this attachment is free to rotate until you place the bit into the wood. If you are not paying attention and move the drill past your face you could get hit with the bit! Once you realize that, it is a breeze to use and actually is more flexible than the 90 degree offset drills because you can rotate the placement of the bit without having to rotate the drill motor!Unless you have a recurring need for a 90 degree offset drill, I would recommend this unit. The wood that I was drilling through was 65 years old and proved to be very tough on the drill bit. This offset handled the stress without any complaints!

Wobbles badly
I bought this item for one purpose only. I need to ream very close tolerance holes in aircraft frames working in a difficult access area. When I put a reamer in this product I discovered that there was at least a 1/8 inch wobble. I removed the chuck to see if that was the problem. It wasn't, it's the 90 degree portion of the tool. When I reinstalled the chuck, you could feel the wobble in the poorly cut threads. If you are building a tree house or drilling drywall, this product would be fine. If you are doing work that demands precision, avoid this tool like it's a flesh eating zombie.

Surprisingly decent
Funny, I bought this product because it looked and felt stronger & better quality than the Milescraft 1390, which had bad reviews. I did my homework online and the Milwaukee 49-22-8510 seemed like the best option out there in my price range, with a pretty high torque rating. As I was using a hole saw to drill through 4" thick glue-lam beams, torque and a certain amount of mechanical durability was a must. Problem: I couldn't find a way to get the Milwaukee right angle thingie in time.So I went to my local True Value and asked if they had anything up to the job. They suggested this Easypower thing. It felt hefty in my hand, no play in the gears, smooth & quiet, all metal. Small enough to fit where I needed it to.It served well. Since it has no side handle like the Milwaukee (actually the Milescraft has that too, but looks way too bulky), you do need to get used to the odd shift in torque direction, but the faintly knurled grip was easy to hang onto. (a deeper knurl would be a nice improvement to this tool)I'm sorry it fell apart on the other reviewer. As for me, this one's staying in my toolbox. Takes up much less space in my box than a true right-angle hole hog, and ate up much less cash too.

Good idea - Poor execution
The product could not be used as intended. The attachment could not provide any torque to the drill bit, even though it had enough speed.I returned it immediately.

Junk, Don't Buy!!
I had one of these attachments for over 20 years with a mechanical chuck, and used it frequently. It finally stripped the gears under heavy use with a spade bit drilling through two 2x4s. The replacement attachment looked exactly the same as the original, but with a different chuck. In spite of mediocre reviews, my past experience had caused me to buy another. The first time I used it with a 3/8" regular bit on a 2x4, it stripped he gears on the second hole. The quality is not what it used to be, don't waste your time and money!!
