Great for 10 days of travel.

I liked these and thought the price point was fantastic because I appreciate not having to buy a GIGANTIC pack of like 30 jars or something. 4 for the price imo was a great value and they're a quality product. That alone is why I gave it 4 stars. I HATE seeing something I like but having to buy in extreme bulk and amber plastic / PET/ acrylic is harder to find than glass is. I also like that the shop owner has a large variety of sizes and colors. My only really complain tis that there isn't a see-through green option and the amber is VERY opaque. I've noticed that with plastic bottles though. I have rigid black pump bottles for shampoo and 4oz fine mister bottles in black for my home spa, and these blend in even while filled with magnesium flakes or a white body butter. And I know you want amber to protect the product, but they're plastic anyway. So I don't know how corrosive of anything I'd put in there that warranted the protection. I'm sure this was out of the manufactuer's control. But the only way they'd look like the photo is with a bright light behind them in a studio. If you're looking for true amber this is not it. I'll probably order a larger size when I need it so they're a big set, and would have gone with a different color but none of them felt like they'd work with my opaque black that also let me see approximately how much product was in it. Love that it's plastic though and not glass, as I use it in a wet area. Would trust it for travel, and seems airtight because my magnesium flakes and salts have not clumped and they live very close to my bathtub. I haven't had any leaking and they're good storage capacity for the size I bought. *Only other tiny complaint because I'm not sure what solution would fix this and again, I'd probably have to buy a pack of 50 for the perfect jar, but some of the sizes resemble prescription medicine containers in proportion. I'm not sure if it's the 10oz or 12oz but first thing I thought was that it looked like an antibiotic or something would be in it. I like the shorter but wider profile in the 8oz size so I sized down from what I wanted to get that shape instead. Would buy another set in the same family with the same proportions but larger if I need. Again, it's a good product but I don't want my beauty containers to look like my medicine.

Review update: NOT leak proof for products more “liquidy” than a lotion would be. ——————————- I purchased these with the intention of using them to carry my facial cleanser, lotion, etc. while traveling. I always find it cumbersome to have to carry around bottles, as well as the pain of making sure they're sealed with tape (to prevent unwanted opening) prior to placing it in your luggage. I filled these little guys up, placed them in a ziplock bag, and tossed them in my luggage. So far so good: no leaks and no breaks. When compared to those popular small silicone travel bottles, I find these little containers easier to handle, clean, and fill. I would recommend using these for thicker creams, lotions, and soaps. The runnier liquids (liquid body wash, shampoo, etc) may fare better in those silicone travel bottles, due to their much runnier consistency. Note: If something changes, I will be updating my review.

Exactly as described, lightweight, leak proof

These are a nice size for maybe holding different seasonings or herbs. 🌿 But I bought these to hold acetone so I could give myself gel manicures. They can’t hold up to the acetone. The jars leaked acetone all over the place, and the lids were on tight. I tried putting water in one and it did not leak! So jars can be helpful, but be careful what you use them for!!
