This little guy is so cute. I’ve named him Oscar. I didn’t realize till I read the instructions a few days after I started using it that you weren’t supposed to touch him (which I did, but I’m still here), have to wrap it in newspaper (haven’t seen any of those in a while) to discard it, etc. This scared me that it might not be safe to inhale the mist but I looked it up and apparently it is perfectly safe and does appear to keep the humidifier tank clean as a whistle though you are still supposed to clean it regularly. I definitely recommend it even though it’s a little pricey to replace each month which is recommended.

He comprobado objetivamente (con un medidor de contaminación del aire) y subjetivamente (me arde la garganta si lo tenga cercas) que contamina al aire, lo cual invalida la idea de utilizar un humidificador para mejorar la calidad del aire. Mi humidificador es en frío, quizás con un humidificador de vapor el veneno no sale, eso no lo he comprobado. Sí queda limpio el tanque, en ese sentido cumple, por eso le doy dos estrellas.

This works great! Purchased in November and it lasted until January with consistent use. The fish is super easy to use, you just drop right into the humidifier and it does its thing. It keeps it clean, with no smells and is safe to use. I definitely got my money's worth from this and will be purchasing more!

Unfortunately this doesn't fit in many humidifier tank openings (even though it would fit in the tank itself) due to the fins of the fish. I would appreciate a thinner cylinder so it was more versatile.
