This is a beautiful calligraphy set. I love it and it would be a great gift for anyone who loves writing and stationery. I love how it has a steampunk theme and that it comes with nice vintage-looking paper and a beautiful box also. I have never written with calligraphy pens before and was expecting it to be difficult but it was actually fairly easy and was like writing with a regular modern pen. I love it! I would also recommend buying a vintage journal as well to go along with it. That would be a separate purchase. 🤗

Very nice calligraphy set with all the extra bells and whistles you could ask for bought it as a beginner set for my son who loves writing he was awestruck and amazed by it .

Got as a gift

I seal and stamp literally everything now! So fun to use, and it takes you back in history. The stamp says Hogwarts! 3 wax melts and everything you need to melt it: candle, spoon. I have so much fun with this. The quill is tough for a beginner but it's still a blast.

Edit: Slightly disappointed that I have received no response regarding receiving a broken pen. Was hopeful to receive help on this and have not. I also sent a "seller feedback" about it and no response to that either. It would be nice to receive a replacement but I guess I'll move along. Original review: This set is absolutely beautiful. I am really excited to get back into calligraphy now. I would have given this 5 stars except it arrived with the glass pen broken. At first, I didn't know it was a pen because the tip was not with it. The break is very clean and smooth so I didn't realize it was broken. I was making guesses at what this mysterious little object was... a magic wand, perhaps? Then, as I was removing the pen holder and black ink, I found the tip tucked up under the bottles. Mystery solved. :(. Otherwise, this set is very lovely and I can't wait to use it. (Maybe it IS a magic wand!!!)
