Can it ride over a fringed rug without getting entangled

This is going to be a struggle for it.

Can this product clean without using wi-fi when i am not at home. i don't have broadband. i tether internet devices to my phone's unlimited data sim?

Roomba's will perform a clean based on a schedule set, or can be started manually if no wifi at all is present. Not sure how it will perform with multi schedule.

Can someone explain why this product is so expensive in the uk? it is $1099 in the us which is £780. Does that seem reasonable to anyone?

It is normal that American tech products cost about double the price in the UK. Why, is anther matter. I bought one of these on Black Friday 2020 and by Black Friday this year it was out of operation, so not worth the price.

Can it carry a cat around while hoovering if a cat sit on it?

i doubt it as it would press onto the flexible panel which whirrs around and therefore stop the movement
