So, no sooner this flexible bed build surface arrived I broke a wire on my printer and couldn't immediately test it. However I finally fixed the printer tonight and installed the flex plate. The product doesn't come with instructions as to how to install it on your printer but with a little research on the internet it was easy to figure out. After that installation was easy. Getting the old build surface off my print bed, not so much. The magnetic base that gets glued to the bed has reasonable good holding strength. it is not too strong so that it is a pain to remove the flex plate and not to weak that would make you wonder if it will shift during printing. The textured surface on the flex bed gripped the TPU very well. I will update my experience when I get a chance to print with other types of filament. The plate warmed up a little slower than my previous bed surface but I was expecting that as the heat now has to travel through a thicker layer. The print will have a slightly rough bottom due too surface of the flex bed as that is textured. I had no issues with my first couple of prints and based on this limited experience I can recommend it.

I recently purchased the Sovol SV06 Plus Flexible Steel Platform and can verify the sheet fits my SV06 Plus perfectly, and the build quality is great. The sheet provides fantastic adhesion and flexibility of the steel sheet is also a great, making it easy to remove prints without damaging them. Overall, I recommend this product to anyone looking to replace or have a backup Sovol build plate.

I got this flex plate for use with an Artillery Genius 3D printer which has a bed size of 230mm by 230mm. I suggest to measure/check your bed size before purchasing to see if it will cover what you have. I primarily print PLA, PETG, and a little TPU. This plate is compatible with all three, so I gave it a shot. PROS 1. Creates a nice texture on the bottom of prints. 2. Holds prints nicely. 3. Pretty easy to get completed prints to release sonce it is a flex plate. No release agents were necessary. One note is that if printing with PETG or TPU it would be a good idea to remove the print while the sheet is still warm. I found this makes it easier to remove smalls pieces of supports or skirts that tend to get left behind on the plate. 4. This is cheaper than a lot of the similar products that are available. CONS There really is no documentation from Sovol that I found that is available on applying the magnetic sheet to the existing bed or any other product usage recommendations. The good news is that there are similar products that you can search for installation videos if need be. I am familiar with using similar products, finding my own answers, and experimenting, so, all in all this is not a big deal. Other notes: The black surface is some kind of polycarbonate and has a sort of gritty, sandy texture. According to a rep, the whole setup is limited to 110c in temperature on the heated bed. I don't print anything that requires anything close to these temps so no problem. The black surface comes pre applied to the flex sheet. The magnetic sheet has adhesive that gets applied to whatever bed you are currently using.

Works exactly as you'd expect. PETG sticks too well and PLA sticks just right. If you'll be using it with PETG, get some hairspray or glue stick for an interface layer so it doesn't bond to the coating. Nice and flat, no bubbles in the PEI sticker. PLA prints release with a satisfying click.

Price seemed good. Easy to put on with the magnetic bed. Seems durable.

Looks identical to the one that came with my printer, however after just a couple uses and cleaning with rubbing alcohol the white markings are already disappearing when my original plate's still looks new despite a year of use and cleaning with rubbing alcohol.

It’s so good to the point sometimes my prints stick TOO well. That’s not a bad thing but it can be frustrating when doing leveling tests (~1 layer thick) The coating is super hard and won’t come off if you use the scraper, but I’m still gentle if I ever have to pry something off. The steel bends a little bit to help take prints off once cooled. I attached a picture, left is the original Ender 3 magnetic sheet, right is this product. Note the difference in texture. I also had a PEI sheet before this (changed out because I messed it up while troubleshooting my extruder, and left the 200C nozzle too close) - that sheet’s prints felt and looked smooth, while retaining details. This one is coarser than the stock Ender, while retaining details. The only thing I haven’t figured out is why my black PLA looks a little grey on the bottom. So far between the stock Ender sheet, PEI, and this, I like this the most. I feel like I could print something 12” tall and not worry about adhesion. PEI was a little iffy at times and I definitely had to use isopropyl alcohol to clean it occasionally - I haven’t tried glass but I hear the clips and hair spray/glue can get annoying.

Bought for sovol sv06 plus. Works great. No spray/glue required for pla. Haven't tried with petg or asa/abs yet. However, need to relevel/reset z offset every time you switch with original plate. Not a complaint, just an observation.

Much improved over original smooth PEI plate for hold of the part. Not seeing near as many supports getting knocked over.
