Wow - I could feel this hydrating my skin instantly - and I felt more hydrated getting out of bath !!! as someone with severe dry skin conditions I used the full 2 cups & am very happy with the results after bath 1 ! (I was nervous about potential pain from dry skin injuries + salt / but i only felt a brief pain for a few seconds and went away & then was just enjoyable *I poured the 2 cups little by little until I was confident wouldn’t hurt myself*)

Dead Sea salt is amazing and this product is awesome! It's full of nutrients and 21 benefical minerals that heal and detox your body, while relieving joint and muscle pain, achiness, soreness and tension. Minera Dead Salt has been my Go To Dead Sea salt provider for years. Several years ago my physician recommended a Dead Sea salt soak 2 to 3 times a week for very dry dry skin caused by having gas heat in my home. Now she is also recommending it for both Diabetic nerve pain along with Dual Sciatica treatment. Adding 100% natural essential oils to the hot bath soaking regimen along with 1/2 cup baking soda always does the trick. Not only does the mix (1 to 2 Cups salt + 1/2 cup baking soda + 4 Tbsp. Pure Vegetable Glycerin) help with skin conditions it soothes the muscle tension and calms the neurological sensory nerves. Mixing the salts with baking soda also assists with helping women maintain a natural PH balance without adding man-made chemicals. GREAT for women over 50! The Minera salts have also reduced my adult child's severity of Achne. The true resealable packaging is a hug added bonus because it keeps the salt dry and clumping to a minimum. I usually use Epsom salts in my bath, as I find them a bit energizing and good for tired muscles. Dead Sea Salt is something new I decided to try on a lark. I've been pleased with the quality of San Francisco Salt Co.'s Epsoak Epsom salt and its medium-grain texture, so I went with their Minera Dead Sea Salt. These are pure Dead Sea Salts from a source at the Southern part of the Dead Sea. They contain magnesium, potassium, sodium, calcium, bromide, sulfur, in that order, among other minerals. The minerals are supposed to benefit skin and muscles. The instructions say to add a handful to the bath -or a full 2 cups if you are using the salts to treat psoriasis. I added a half cup of salts. I can't say that I noticed any effect. The salts may not have been concentrated enough in my bath. I should probably have used 2 cups even though I'm not treating a skin condition. I hesitated to use more, as Minera is considerably more expensive than Epsoak, even when purchased in large quantity. The grains are 1-2mm in size -too fine for making a scrub. But, if you are going to give these Dead Sea Salts a try, I recommend using a generous quantity.

Why didn't someone tell me about this before? I have a compromised immune system, thin skin and severe medication reactions. When I developed skinfold psoriasis, I was sent to a dermatologist. Multiple months of using $100+ tubes of cream to no avail. It seemed the more expensive the cream,the more it burned. I stumbled upon a UK article about natural remedies for skinfold psoriasis where they recommended Dead Sea Salts. It was clear from the article's comments, that quality matters. Minerva is one of the best brands of DSS in the world! When I received the salts, I expected to have to bath with it every day for a few weeks before seeing any result. I just dried off from a 15 minute soak with a handful the DSS. Incredible! The psoriasis patches are flat and dry. The best part is, no burning! This is the first time my skin has been comfortable in months! A big thanks to the reviewers before me. Sharing your success with this product motivated me to try it. I hope I can do the same for others suffering with psoriasis. Peace.

This was a must postpartum. I would recommend highly for anyone who takes baths. Would make a great gift to be added in gift baskets too. My kids also love to steal it from me.
