Bohin Crewel Embroidery Needles, Size 3/9, 15 Per Package

These are excellent high quality needles. The best for embroidery work. The eye of the needle is large enough to handle thicker thread and the needle is very sharp to pierce the fabric.

This is my favorite set of general purpose embroidery needles. This brand is tied for 3rd place in my favorite needle brands, but it's honestly close between all 4 of my top picks. What makes this pack in particular special is the compact size of the package. I can tuck it into a little pocket in my needle book and know I have almost anything I need when I'm traveling. I tend to use size 10 (not included in this package) a lot for really detailed pieces, but I don't tend to travel with those. These needles are smooth, easy to thread, etc. I've never had a problem with them. They're a good value for the price, and a good variety if you're starting out or happen to use all of the sizes. (I've learned I mostly use sizes 9-12 and rarely touch the others, but I also rarely use any more than 2 strands of floss at a time.)

Quality product and prompt delivery

For big stitch quilting through all the layers, especially where there were seams, the largest size needle in this pack worked very well! It was much better than anything I already had on hand. Excellent quality.

I had Dritz needles and they are nowhere as smooth as these Bohin ones. Very glad I bought Bohin's and will buy them again.

Comme toujours avec cette marque, ces aiguilles sont de très bonne qualité. J'ai, par contre, été déçue, en partie, car je m'attendais à ce que ces aiguilles possèdent un chas plus large.

I really wanted to buy British made needles but they don’t exist anymore. I was fed up with inferior needles that are terrible quality or faults such as burrs in the eye even from the ‘big name’ manufacturers. I have many vintage British needles but they are not as sharp as they used to be so after some research I decided on Bohin. They are excellent quality and glide beautifully through any fabric I’ve tried them on. I am now a convert to these French needles which are at least made in France!
