Cross Stitch Kits,Embroidery Needlework Sets with Printed Pattern,11CT,Cross ST-06,Large Square Ginkgo 50x50cm

This was a present, my neice really liked the design.

I love the colours of the thread. It has the pattern to follow clearly too.

The charts don't show any embroidery lines per the pictures (eg the gold stems and lines on the flowers) . The kit I have is all cross stitch, no metallic threads as others have described. As it's cross stitch and not embroidery, the pictures don't reflect the finished piece. The pictures show the outlines of some flowers over others, which is impossible with the kit I received.I like the design, and will continue to work on it, but I know I'll be disappointed with the finish because it's simply not as shown.Likelihood is I'll buy my own gold thread and try to get some of the finish I'd expected. No idea how that will turn out since there are no guides on the pattern to do that!Update 12Jun2021Photo added of finished cross stitch. I didn't add metallic thread in the end, so what you see is the end result using only the kit plus some additional threads I had to buy (there wasn't enough of three of the colours to finish it). The background is clearly green, not white (marbled or otherwise).It's a nice piece and it's now hanging in my living room, but what I received was clearly not what was pictured in the listing.Also note that 50x50cm is NOT the size of the finished image, but the size of the fabric. The actual size of the image is 40x40cm

Just received this and delighted with quality. Other reviews have stated they were unsure how many strands of thread to use, but the chart clearly states this, i.e., the 50cm x 50cm size which this is, suggests it is 11 ct Aida and therefore 3 strands should be used. Only difficulty I have is that the needle provided has too small an eye to thread three strands or in the case of using the loop method, six strands! I will have to find a larger eye blunt needle. Also the stamped design bears no relation to the colours used but simply follow the number relating to the numbered thread organiser. First time with a stamped design but enjoying it so far.

I am an experienced embroiderer but this has beaten me, sewing should be an enjoyable experience and this ,for me, was not. The threads are satin and hard to work with, I bought 'Thread Magic' but it did not help they still tangle and I ended up with random loops in stitches. Some of the colours are very similar and to be honest I think they are the same. Why are there two differing keys to the colours. There is very little spare canvas so is difficult to attach to frame.Basically life is too short for this and its on its way to the bin....

To difficult to follow but sure a more experienced stitches would be ok with this

I’ve been working on this for eight months and discovered there’s not enough threads. This is due to be a 60th birthday present. I contacted the seller three times and then had to contact Amazon itself. Offered a refund but that doesn’t help me finish it! They sent me a replacement kit but sent me the wrong one. Now they’re saying they don’t make mine anymore. So I can’t finish it. Don’t buy it.

Love the colours of thread, great that pattern/colours are printed on the canvas and also a graph to follow once it’s getting full. Only criticism is there are no instructions as to how many threads to use, tried 2 but you could still clearly see the print underneath so now using 3 and hoping there is enough
