Maintaining a clean environment for my spider is crucial, and this terrarium makes that task incredibly simple and efficient. Ventilation: The ventilation is excellent, ensuring that there is always fresh air circulating inside the enclosure. This is essential for the health and well-being of my spider, and it gives me peace of mind knowing that the habitat is well-ventilated. Nice habitat for our jumping spiders.
Cost effective! Clear! Functional as they are easy to assemble, disassemble and clean. Easy to open and close with a lock. Stackable! (I just realized that’s what the cutout on the front bottom is for!) Sturdy which is necessary since these get moved around multiple times a day. No scratches yet despite many people handling and moving. Only issue thus far is that one is the rubber bands used to secure the sides (etc) broke immediately when we used it. This wasn’t a problem because there were a few extra in the package, and you really don’t need to secure all 13 places. Habitat will stay together fine with a few missing. You can also just use a regular rubber band or hair tie in its place.

perfect for sub to sub adult jumping spiders!
I got this enclosure for a regal jumping spider, I was able to put it together easily, completely with one hand! As I have a disability and only have use of my left hand. It's a nice size for a spider that is still growing. The latch on top is difficult to attach and we opted not to even use it. the door latches well on it's own. There are no gaps that a larger spider could escape through. I haven't gotten my spider yet, but I will update my review and add more pictures when I add him to the enclosure! I added a hydrometer to read the temperature, and humidity in the enclosure, and I put an LED tealight on top for lighting. So far so good! With coco soil on the bottom and a little moss, the humidity is staying where it needs to be with just a spritz of water to a wall, and the soil.

Perfect as a temporary enclosure!
Great little enclosure for a reasonable price! I use mine for my jumping spiders but be aware that smaller invertebrates/animals can escape through the lock hole if left open. Assembly was straightforward, just be sure to get the film off of *both* sides of the plastic. It comes with everything you need and simple instructions, I would trust that any child that can follow a lego set instruction book could figure it out. My main gripes with the enclosure are that the side vents are fiddly and even larger hydei fruit flies can pass through them which makes feeding with them obnoxious since they just squeak right out (I have put screening over mine to avoid this) and the lock hole as well as the side "hinge" holes at the front of the enclosure are also large enough for prey items or small animals to sneak through (I taped mine up to avoid this). Also, the lock itself is very fussy, I personally dislike it even if the design is a great concept for stacking multiple enclosures. Mine came with one of the two pins on the lock shorter than the other so it never fit right and fell off constantly so I superglued it in place upright and taped up the lock hole because I was simply sick of it. My last gripe is that if you spray the sides of the enclosure the water can slide through between the wall and the bottom and end up leaving a mess outside of the enclosure but that's a relatively small issue. All in all, it's a good enough enclosure for a temporary setup or for young hobbyists but it needs so many modifications to make it viable as a long term solution that I recommend you purchase something else if that's your ultimate goal.

Perfect home for a jumping spider
I’m about a year late writing this review. The suggestion to review it popped up when I was reviewing a book. This habitat serve me well. It was home to my beloved Daxi for a year. She died in November. She was very happy in her little home. She made many a hammock, ate many crickets, sat on the little bench I put in there & watched the world. I haven’t cleaned out her enclosure to ready it for another spider, it remains untouched as she left it. I can’t bring myself to give it to another spider, she was my 1st & I loved her. This little habitat will be kept & loved, a memory to a little life that mattered to me. It held up well, and was perfect for a little jumping spider named Daxi.

Zilla....lets talk
Okay so I understand that most buyers of these enclosures are new to the tarantula hobby. That's because seasoned hobbyists know that they can modify a $4 AMac box from the Container Store and net the same result. I also know that the most common species that most new keepers are going to put into this enclosure are Avicularia's. This isn't a bad thing, but it could be much better with a simple design modification. Avicularia's, as well as other arboreal tarantulas are extremely dependent on cross ventilation. Now you may say "Perfect, this enclosure has air slots on both sides." This is true, slots on both sides are good but it could be much better. If there were a second set of slots below these it could create convection. Air would enter the enclosure from the bottom slots, as the air warmed and became humid from the dampness of the substrate it would rise up and exhaust from the top vents. A constant flow of air. In at the bottom, out at the top. By not having those holes at the bottom that convention is inhibited. Yes there are gaps for air to enter at different places on the enclosure but why not put a second set of air vents below the existing vents? It would cost nothing, and make the enclosures a more suitable habitat for air flow dependent species. I modified mine by drilling two rows of holes down low but if I am going to have to drill the acrylic, it becomes hard to justify the cost when I can make the same modifications to an AMac box. The pros: The acrylic is very clear and attractive. Its easy to assemble and light weight. The folding door is secure and the latch is intelligently designed. This is a decent enclosure that could be a great enclosure if Zilla would better educate themselves on the needs of the animals that they are designing these enclosures for.

Awesome
They're perfect for my jumping spiders. I have 2 spiders & got one for each. No baby spiders though as they could escape through. I have used these for a few years with other animals. So easy to put together.

Nice home for Jumping Spider
I really like this Zilla Mirco Habitat. Still don't even know how I have a baby jumping Spider??? I Hate ALL SPIDERS and I am terrified of them!! I somehow grew to want one after watching tons of videos on them after finding one in my car and killing it. My husband thinks they are sooooo cute. My little 1 and 6 yr old watch Lucas the Spider and even that dam cartoon spider freaks me out. Anyways...... I now have my very own tiny baby jumping spider. I even went to Petsmart and bought it Fruit flies. I had it in a small glass bowl at first and then I heard about this little enclosure on YouTube and I had to get it for my little baby spider. I don't know if the spider is a girl or boy. I think it likes it's home though. It was Crawling all around at the top and finally made a cozy little web between the yellow flower. Hasnt came out yet and has only ate once. I think this enclosure is really nice and I enjoy that it's clear so you can see your spider or whatever you choose to put in it. When you first get it there's a film on all of the pieces and you can't really tell that it can be peeled off, but YES it does come off. I really like the simple lock ontop as well. I didn't know how to open it at first until my husband showed me how. The bottom piece of the enclosure looks like a little pull out drawer but it's not. Even looks like it's open in pictures but it's not. Everything is held together by thick little bands. Might not sound sturdy but it is. The plastic is nice too in my opinion. I'm very happy with my purchase and for $20 I think it's worth it. Once again I love it! I hope my baby jumping spider does too.

Great sturdy enclosure
Great enclosure turned up earlier than expected very sturdy and simple to put together the only problem was I had to wedge the door back with a band to stop my spider from escaping since he's pretty small but other than that it's a great enclosure

It's not sturdy enough
It's not sturdy enough and pay attention to the gaps between panels - my spider got out. I'd return it If I hadn't created a full setup there.

Buen producto
