I have been using this for a couple of months. It looks sleek and the arm does not hang out like most others. The service person also did a good job of installation.

I bought the EN Size 3. Country of origin is mentioned as Taiwan in Amazon product specifications, but the one I received had country of origin China. Reducing one star because of this. Box includes the door closer, two types of screw sets and a one sheet installation document. If you have the right tools available at home, you may attempt to install this by yourself and save on installation charges. I did the installation myself and the door closer is working as expected. I prepared a template based on instruction manual, drilled pilot holes and then installed the screws on the wooden door. As you can see from the pictures, space was a bit tight, so consider this before purchasing. Also, after installation, it could be a bit difficult to adjust the latch and closer screws if you have a wall right next to the door closer.

The product is perfect. value for money. Go ahead and buy it and save cost

Update after 1.5 years of installation. 2 of the 3 Door Closers have now gone bad. The oil leakage from the door closer has also spoiled the carpet underneath. Struggling to get warranty replacement. The same pathetic customer service we endured when the first one was replaced within 2 months of the purchase is again happening now. No change in Yale's attitude...just pathetic. Please avoid purchasing this product Yale does not offer free installation for this product. Bought 3 door closers. One door was not closing properly after carpenter installation. Called Yale person. He charged 250 as visit charges (for each door closer). Product replaced under warranty after 1 week of follow up as Yale insisted on charging installation of the replacement door closer on payment of 250 rupee fees AGAIN. This was finally waived after one week of escalations. We also installed a 30,000 rupee Yale smart lock on another door having a Yale door closer. After smart lock installation the Yale carpenter says that the door closer on this door is also faulty but refused to touch it asking us to raise another complaint and pay the 250 rupee fee before he even touches the door closer. The Yale smart lock is a 30000 rupee premium product and they don't care whether it works properly for a customer. Such self centered attitude and pathetic service is best avoided

Installed this on on my heavy doors and it does what the product description says. Locks in a position of your choice. Closing speed can be controlled. Makes minimal noise when operated. Overall very happy with the purchase

Good door closer

Build quality is ok. There were supposed to be two screw for adjustment, but as you can see in the photo, only one is there. Price is ok. Build quality is ok. Door closer worked for my purpose, so I am not disappointed. But quality could be improved a lot. Packaging was not good.
