Makes good coffee
This is a basic coffee pot that makes great coffee. No bells, no whistles. No auto shut off or programmable features. The reservoir holds all the water you need for 5 cups. It keeps the coffee at the right temperature. The color of the coffee pot is nice, goes with any decor. I find it a good value. The quality is good. Yes, I would recommend this product.

Simple, Compact, and Works Great for the Price
I ordered this coffee maker because I only had a Keurig, which makes just one cup at a time. I needed something that could brew multiple cups, mainly to use with my Ninja slushy maker for frappes. I didn’t need anything expensive or high-tech, and this coffee maker does exactly what I wanted. It brews more than one cup at a time without taking up much space. It’s very mini, compact, and lightweight — perfect if you’re not a heavy coffee drinker. The coffee brews properly and works just as it should. For the price, it’s a great value, and it even looks nice on the counter. Definitely recommended!

Great little coffee maker but not better than the original
This was very easy to set up. Take out of box, remove packing, plug in. It is very functional since it’s a coffee maker. Coffe stays hot. The pot and filter are easy to clean, rest of coffee maker not so much. Now, I had the original design for my first coffeemaker, and I have noticed a couple things since I received this. One, as someone else had stated, depends on the grind of coffee as to if you receive 3 cups or 5 cups one brewing. The fine or the ground, the less coffee in the pot and debatable if you try and add water to make an additional half pot. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. The coffee pot itself, I’m really not sure what they changed on the design unless it’s on the coffee maker, but I have noticed that depending on how you were holding it, depends on whether or not it poured straight or if it “leaks” from the pour spout. I’m not too sure about the redesign. It’s not as small as previous version, and at least with the old one, if I decided to pour a cup early, it stopped filling the pot. Not now. My fault, I saw it in the description, but I guess it didn’t register. Personally, I love Amazon Basics, but this was more of a miss than a hit. I had the original of this since 2019, and had to replace because the base stopped working; it no longer turned on ( because sometimes I’d forget to turn it off), so maybe I should have bought a new one of the old version.

Good little coffee maker. Happy I purchased it.
I like this coffee pot; it is just right for me. It brews good coffee too. My old coffee maker wore out, and I did not want to spend a lot of money on a new one. I only have one large cup in the morning, and not a lot of counter space. I will have to buy the cone shape filters in the future, but for now I am folding the basket filters I have into a cone shape. It comes with a mesh filter, but I like to use the paper filters - easier clean up. I am happy I bought this.

Really great performance.
OK, I'm gonna say right up front that I was not expecting much when I saw the price was below 34 bucks. We needed a new coffeemaker and I saw this at the very bottom of the units that were programmable. And Amazon has a great return policy so what the heck. To say I am astounded at how well this coffeemaker works is under-expressing myself. I DID do a bit of research and knew both good coffee and programmable were must-haves. But some units force you to drill down through menu after menu, making one button (and you) do the work of what should have been a one-touch command selection. Not this unit. Clear, large, one touch commands. Want to set the hour? There's an hour button. Minutes? Same. Program? Yep, just one. This is great. Sooooo simple to set up, program, and run. This thing has everything we needed at an unbelievable price. And it makes excellent coffee that was at the top of the 'must' list too. I cannot speak to longevity yet as we have only had ours a matter of days and not months or years, but it does EXACTLY what we need for now.

Just OK
It works, and it's inexpensive. That may be all that you care about. Couple of things to consider. It has a kind of thin and flimsy feel. After a couple of weeks of use, nothing has broken off, but I keep expecting it. There is something about the design - I can't put my finger on it exactly - but I am constantly spilling liquid when I use this thing. It's also a bit cranky when the cycle is finished. If you open the lid in order to remove the grounds, it "spits" at you. I actually had a small jet of boiling water shoot out in my direction from a hole in the bottom of the water chamber. No harm done, but it surely startled me. Some reviewers have commented that the auto-shutoff doesn't work. I find that it works too well. I come downstairs in the early morning to feed the cat and start a pot of coffee. By mid-morning, it has shut itself off and the coffee is cold. Finally, and this isn't their fault, you need to think about whether a "5-cup" pot is really what you want. A standard "cup" of coffee is pretty small. 5 cups is actually about 2 mugs. That may or may not be what you want. Bottom line... it's cheap and it works, but you might want to upgrade a bit.

Great Coffee maker!
I actually bought this coffee maker before, but I broke it by forgetting to put the coffee pot in place one morning. I decided to order it again because I was impressed with how well it worked, and I’m glad I did. The machine brews quickly, the coffee tastes great, and it’s easy to use. Cleanup is simple, and the design looks nice on the counter. For the price, it’s a solid coffee maker that does exactly what you need without any hassle. Even after my mistake with the first one, I didn’t hesitate to buy it again.

WORKS GREAT, EXCELLENT TASTING COFFEE (& lattes), BUT...
This small coffee maker is perfect for its purpose. I've usually made my lattes with a manual pour-over filter basket in a French press carafe. I froth the milk by microwaving 1/2 cup -2/3 cup in a large Pyrex measuring cup and using a whisk. (Our Keurig won't properly brew espresso grind -- too fine.) I wanted to try a small drip brewer with a cone-shaped filter basket for extracting the espresso and this works! I don't use the "reusable" screen filter, as those are a hot mess with espresso grounds. I use a paper filter in the cone-shaped plastic filter basket and this little brewer does get hot enough to work! I use a full scoop of espresso grind and 12oz of water (plus the milk froth) for a perfect 16oz+ latte. And, of course, the machine brews two-12oz cups of regular coffee, as it will take 24-25oz of water. The warming plate works fine. I would give this brewer 5 stars, but as others have said, it is flimsy. It really could use a little more rigidity -- it's very soft thin plastic. I'll guess mostly recycled plastic. But, again, it works great, fits under your cabinets (Mr Coffee is too tall) and this is easy to clean. We'll see how long it holds up. Meanwhile, for $20, go for it.
