My hubby loves this little blower. It is small and lightweight, yet does the job with no problem. He blows dirt and leaves out the garage and blows leave in the yard and blows grass clippings off the cement after grass cutting. It is durable and works well. Battery holds up really well. Easy to carry around and use. I would buy this again.

I like how light weight this leaf blower is. Going from wired to battery power is all good except for the need to change the battery every 15 minutes. It's quick and easy to change, so just buy a spare battery or two if you have need of more time. It has only modest power, but plenty for blowing leaves on smooth surfaces. It is also quieter than more powerful blowers. But if you want a very similar leaf blower with occasional extra power, they have a model LSW321 with a "POWERBOOST" button. The model number I'm reviewing is LSW221. I'd probably rate the LSW321 as 5 stars instead of 4.

I have a larger corded leaf blower for major work, this small, very lightweight, yet pretty powerful tool has been a delight and an effective way to easily and quickly clean decks, sidewalks, roof gutters, vehicles, etc., where I can just grab it and go when and where I need it without hooking up extension cords. We are in major leaf dropping time here in Western CO, which lasts about a month or so, every day new leaves rain down, so I'm using it just about every day for a quick, easy and fast cleaning. Battery runtime is relatively short but adequate for this use, as noted in other reviews, don't expect to do any heavy use, it's not designed for that task. I especially like the battery charger that indicates when fully charged, replacement batteries are a bit on the expensive side, I'll learn how long the battery lasts. Once we get past leaf season, I'll be looking forward to using it to blow and sweep light snow off decks, sidewalks, vehicles, etc. Price was a major factor in selecting this item. Wish I would have gotten this years ago. I'm still new with this machine, we'll see how dependable it is, but it's earned 5 stars so far as to function.

Actually, I would have given this a 3.5, but no option for that. What I like is that it is lightweight, really quiet and easy to use. I love the Black and Decker MAX series, so I have multiple batteries which makes swapping easy. That leads me to what I don't like. When I say "Under Powered" I mean it 2 different ways. The air stream is a bit weak - fast, but not much volume. It will blow most of the dust out of my shop and light grass off the driveway, but no way will it be able to herd leaves come fall. The second way it is under powered is the battery. It runs down pretty quickly. Don't be misled when it says it holds a charge for 20 hours. It will NOT run this blower for 20 hours. It really needs a battery with a lot more capacity. I fully understand the trade off between weight and run time, so I can't really fault B&D. I accept this blower for what it is and it basically does what I need it to do.

This is my fourth B&D blower. It works well until it doesn’t. I store it properly, clean is thoroughly and, ensure the batteries are maintained as well. Why can’t they get it together. When I purchased the first one four years ago for about $45, the 20v lasted about 12mos until the switch stuck and I had to use a plastic spoon to flip the switch. The second purchase was about $65, same issue after a year. The third one for about $85, same issue, and lastly the current purchase for $97. I notice that the newer ones are 21v so that means that when my other B&D lawn equipment dies, I’m stuck with old batteries 🪫 Let’s get it together because it’s frustrating and times are tough enough without having to buy equipment that can’t last more than a year with a short battery life.

I needed to replace my other Black and Decker blower with the old style 18v battery. My batteries are getting older and I did not want to buy anymore so I ordered this and for the money and what I needed it for it's great. This blower is for blowing dust and debris out of your garage or off decks, porches, sidewalks or other hard surfaces. I use it primarly after mowing to get the grass off the driveway, street, and sidewalks. It probably takes me 10 minutes and my old one would start wearing down if I did not hurry up. I took my time testing this and probably was using it for at least 15 minutes with no slowdown. I like how it is curved up at the end so the angle is right without having to lean down to get the debris to blow slightly up and into the grass or over the curb. It is extremely lightweight and small enough for an old lady like me to manage! It just has an on off switch. Simple to operate. It was also easy to put together as the tube just slides on and snaps in place. The battery said it takes 4 hrs to charge but mine was done in less than 2. It probably came partially charged. There is a light that flashes when it's charging and is on steady when it's done charging. Great system. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend for sweeping light debris.
