Perfect for petite bodies
Purchased the original round one and it was huge! Returned for this half roll and it’s perfect for my petite frame. Has really helped my posture during work. I work from my computer 8 hours a day and this has improved my lower lumbar pain

Supportive and well made
Great lumbar support and truly well made. I specially like the straps as I can keep it in place on my desk chair.

This particular pillow is great if you need a large amount of firm support
I own six different types of lumbar pillows. I've had a couple of surgeries and need support in most chairs. This particular pillow is great if you need a large amount of firm support. It works great in chairs that seem like the backs are concave or in soft chairs and couches. However, for most office chairs or chairs at restaurants I find that this pillow is so large that its uncomfortable. The strap is nice as it keeps it in place and can be used on most chairs. Unfortunately, there is no way to remove the strap - unless you want to do so permanently. I also have the ComfortMakers pillow (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000XTI3XO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1#) which has a removable strap and I like the being able to keep the strap inside the pillow unless I need it. If you need only a small amount of support, this pillow may be too large for you. If though, like the one of the reviewers of the ComfortMaker pillow, you think that one is not enough support, than this one may be just what you need. I use this pillow, but its probably third in line when I'm grabbing one to use.

Far better than a rolled up towel or the cylindrical cushions
I had TLIF for spinal stenosis. After surgery, I wore a spinal brace, but eventually that is put aside to rebuild muscle tone. While my Toyota Tacoma's bucket seats are very comfortable and sufficiently supportive, my wife's Nissan Rogue was not at all. I tried the cylindrical "bolster" type, but it was far too thick and pressed too hard on the small of my back. This one works great.

Perfect for a church pew
I have scoliosis and arthritis in my spine. Sitting in the padded church pew with wooden backs had become so uncomfortable to my SI joints that I couldn't sit still. This is perfect to use to support my lower back. It makes sitting there far more comfortable. If it means anything to you, my husband's comment after the first time I used it was that I must have been more comfortable because I sat still.

Nice size for travel and provides firm support
I bought this lumbar support pillow about three months ago when I was dealing with severe sciatica pain. Since I was pretty much living in my recliner, the pillow worked just fine even though the strap is not long enough to use on the recliner. If you squeeze the pillow with your fingers, the foam seems to be soft and squishy. However, when leaning against it, it really doesn't have any give. Again, this was fine in the recliner, but not so much in a hardback chair or lying in bed; then it seems to be hard as a rock and hurts my back and aggravates my sciatica rather than help. The zippered mesh cover is soft and easy to put on and take off. I haven't used the strap yet, so can't comment on how well that works. It is the perfect size for travel; but, for home use, it could be an inch or two wider. Other than that, it seems to be durable and should last a long time. I would recommend it if you want firm support for your lower back, but not so much if you're looking for pillow-soft support.

its helps for neck pain and back pain.
I have tried varies back support for car and office chair from varies brands. This one is perfect fit. Again each one need different level of support but this one is perfect fit for me. I had terrible neck pain due to incorrect posture in office chair and car. After lot's of trail and error I found poor back support along with not using correct height for monitor was causing this issue. Now started using this for lower back and increased monitor height for correct height and pain free. Your sitting posture is 100% important and this pillow alone will not solve the problem if you can't correct other ergonomic postures. But this helps to align your back and this supports the neck. From my experience neck pain was caused by poor support for lower back and incorrect posture even though I had thought lower back support has nothing to do with neck pain. I also purchased same slimline support for my car and its really helps for car driving. Please note all these supports will feel uncomfortable at first but you will get used to use after few days. I don't write review often but here i am writing to help others with similar problem. The slimline is more soft and you might need different support but McKenzie provides different products based on need. so research before you make the purchase.

Perfect for my situation
Dealing with painful back issues is likely different for each person. That being said, this cushion will probably not work well for all people. For my situation, this cushion works perfectly. It has just the right balance between firm and soft, or comfy. The front seats in my sports sedan are designed with side and hip support, for comfort and support during cornering. The tires are very low profile, exactly the wrong setup for someone with a back injury. I now drive with a memory foam cushion in the seat and now this one across my back. For now, I’m all set…sooooo grateful for this cushion.
