3037808 ACD-10 Plus 600A Clamp Multimeter

my old 20 old unit died, so ordered this in a pinch, works perfectly. Just remember only works on AC amps and you must put it on a single conductor at a time. I like the size so I can worm it over wires in a box.

These are high quality meters designed by the Fluke co. I have 3 Amprobes and totally satisfied with the accuracy and ruggedness of these meters. If you don't have the money for a Fluke these are just as good with a more palatable price tag.

I really like this meter, especially at the price. It's small and light - good for use n crowded panels. The display is easy to read and the case fits both the meter and the leads nicely. It does not have auto-shutoff, but it comes with an extra battery in case I forget. The battery is a common watch battery and will be easy to find if I need another one. I'd buy it again.

My old Amprobe of some 40 odd years finally gave up the ghost, and this was the only replacement that I could find on short notice.I was a bit leary of the digital read-out, but the readings seem to be fairly accurate. I do like the capacitor tester! This along with a voltage tester in both AC and DC voltage, plus the time honored amp meter.I do have difficulty in remembering to turn the thing off! Maybe that is why they send a spare battery?Anyway, good product for the buck.

Good value, one of the slimmest that I've seen--fits in tool bag easily, easy to hold with one hand. Perfect for home handyman.

Works but did not help finding my electrical issued

Does NOT measure DC Current. A bit on the lightweight side with no shock padding. A good drop will probably destroy this. Put a wrist lanyard on it if you can so it doesn't hit the ground the first time you flinch when you see a spark. LOL
