I got these so I could refrigerate leftover food in them. I needed the lids to use instead of plastic wrap, the whole thing to be microwavable and pretty to eat out of. These work fine for that. I was afraid they'd break easily because they felt very thin and light, but I dropped one and it didn't even chip. Overall, a good buy for me.

I got these bowls mostly for cooking vegetables or reheating oatmeal or soup. They are very nicely finished and the right size for serving soup or individual casseroles.

It’s just what I wanted, in red for my Chili servings, but it’s awkward to store, needs its own area, so I just sat one on the shelf next to my identical looking but real red Creuset, as an additional interest and contrast in size.

Perfect for French onion (or other soups). Glazed surface is easy to clean, nice heavy weight goes in the oven, holds heat well (actually remember to take it out and let your soup sit for 10 minutes or you’ll never be able to eat it)

I like to eat my soup hot! This set comes with very sturdy lids. Works great.

The bowls themselves are terrific. Worth it just for that. The lids however; a few don't set properly on the bowl. Still usable just an annoyance when using the lids. Have to be careful how you set them and when you move them.
