Good, well repected wireless microphone system with good range and sound quality at a bargain price.

I have experimented with various ways of connecting a wireless mike to a karaoke machine with only a wired microphone input. This one is by far the best. Bluetooth transmitters and receivers always introduce a slight delay, which does not happen with this UHF wireless. It is possible to have two Bluetooth transmitters feeding one receiver, but this is much easier to set up. VHF sets also have no delay, but are more susceptible to interference from passing taxis. It uses disposable batteries which last a while, but keep an eye on them.

Sound quality poor, and no matter how much post production tweaking in the edit still does not produce a broadcast quality. Battery life isn’t great especially if you are running both mics at once. Build quality is good and the case is robust, would I recommend? If you want radio mics for a venue for live presentations these may be ideal, but for film making the sound quality is disappointing, but then again you get what you pay for.

The receiver drained 2 AA batteries in under 5 minutes. Wouldn't connect to my Sony A7iii camera. Very disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend.

These are radio microphones are powered by AA batteries and they last roughly 4-6 hrs on a new set of batteries. They are well made and easy to use with the on-board system menu. The potential to move the working transmitting band allows me to avoid interference from other wireless transmitting systems. They are very flexible with a long range and good sound. The single receiver can operate in mono or stereo mode, so this allows the potential for have a single stereo feed to the mixer, or 2 separate mono feeds allowing independent mixing. This is the second WMX kit I have, the first had a single transmitter and this worked well, so when I needed extra microphones I was pleased to find the WMX 20 available at a good price. The receiver unit has 2 receiver sections and is potentially the highest battery user, but if only using one transmitter, one receiver section can be switched off saving batteries. Overall very pleased.
