I recieved my siren yesterday 12/11/18 and picked it up today 12/12/18 . siren very loud better than my other whelen 295sa . but very disappointed that when adding sirens the lighting started flickering and than stopped working . got a hold of amazon and will be receiving a replacement shortly by this Friday. I will change my star rating soon as I get the new one. Update after receiving new sirens and programming to laptop which was easy . it is a awesome siren and love how it discreet but loud many sirens tones to use and easy to program what ever you want. Well worth spent .

Great handheld siren/control system! Can't be beat for the price in terms of its capabilities vs other handheld systems on the market. Endlessly customizable through Whelen's Command software. Tons of tones to choose from and like the HHS2200 before it, the HHS3200 and 4200 are the gold standard for handheld siren/control systems. Excellent build quality and exactly what you'd expect from Whelen. One note is that its tones are like those from an Epsilon, CenCom Sapphire or Carbide. They do sound different than that of the HHS2200 in terms of pitch. However, many tones have been "cleaned up" vs the HHS2200, imo; specifically some of the wail tones. The Unitrol-style Alternate Wail tone is higher pitched vs the HHS2200 and 295SL/SLS series of sirens, but still sounds good. You have so many tones to choose from, including Whelen's new tones, that it shouldn't be hard finding one that meets your needs.
