The drive is fast and works flawlessly. Slight movement inside when inserting the cable, otherwise would have been a 5 star, its like a 4.9995. Highly Recommended, can't stress enough the transfer speeds considering this is a HDD and not an SSD. Every other HDD is just too slow in comparison.

I needed it initially for the ps5. but b4 I used it to back up some data from my old Mac to a new one. it worked fine. then I plugged it to ps5 to backup the ps4 games. it needed to be formatted and initialized by the ps5. moved the games there and starting playing the ps4 from the HDD. the price of the Prime day was amazing

After about 2 months it works perfectly. I downloaded 580GB of games on the drive and its Still running games smoothly. For people saying it affects the performance of the console running a HDD via USB I had no power supply or performance issues. Definitely recommend this external HDD for the console gamers. 😁👍

It took me a while to figure out which one would be the best drive to buy but this was absolutely a great purchase. Used it on PS4 to move games and free up internal storage. Everything works seamlessly and it was extremely easy to set up, it is just very slow when moving them from internal to external memory. But really I have no complaints, extremely happy with this product.

Primero me llamo la atención su diseño porque parece un contenedor y la parte de arriba es de aluminio que ayuda a disipar mejor el calor, que no es mucho (~40°). Lo compré para almacenar juegos y datos de mi PC y hasta ahora (3 meses aprox.) estoy muy satisfecho. Es un poco más rápido a los convencionales, te ahorras unos segundos en las pantallas de carga y tienes la confianza de la marca en cuestión de durabilidad. Su instalación fue fácil, solo conectas por USB y tuve que formatear a NFTS porque lo uso en Windows; un punto importante a mencionar es que NO puedes quitar la carcasa y hacerlo interno ya que tiene soldada la conexión, pero al ser externo lo hace dinámico a cualquier uso. Por último, compré la versión de 5tb en una oferta muy buena ($2500) por lo que si valió la pena. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ACTUALIZACIÓN 2 AÑOS DESPUÉS: El disco empezó a tener sectores defectuosos, corrompiendo el sistema de archivos y ralentizando la PC. La partición se conviertió en 'RAW data' haciendolo inaccesible a mi información contenida. Intenté distintas formas de repararlo pero el problema era más grave, un desastre. Consulto la supuesta garantía de 3 años y dice fuera de región! y aunque fuese respetada tienes que hacerte cargo de todo los costos que conlleva la devolución y reemplazo del producto. Decepcionante el tiempo que duró funcionando y el servicio de esta marca.
