Sturdy heavy duty fabric. Using for outside craft projects

Needed a rugged 'military' look material for photo backdrop (that was not camo). This material is very thick/heavy, has a great texture, and has no sheen. Great for what I am using it for. Wish this company sold a few more materials like this in different colors.

My dog is one of those that will chew any dog bed to pieces. I built a wood frame, filled it with cedar chips under soft padding. I then covered it with this fabric, and essentially attached it down with thin flat metal screwed into the frame ( the metal was to discourage chewing on the edges). I'm not saying that this fabric is indestructible, but I've only had to replace it twice in 2 years. Which is much better than the "chew proof" dog bed she destroyed in 3 days. It's also easy to clean the dog hair off.

I really like this material. It is a damn near perfect match in color and texture with the material on the USMC FILBE. I have a dad back so I added a few bits of foam topper to my foam roll mat, so I decided to make a cover. You can see in my photo the “bed roll cover” as I call it is a near perfect match (my rucksack may be a bit faded as to why it is the smallest shade of difference).

I combined this with some cork material to make a purse for my wife. Normally I would consider this type of material "tactical" rather than "fashion" but after this project I'll probably do it again.

I'm not sure how this is 1000 Cordura, it's much thinner weight than I have used in the past. Best to order samples from other vendors/retailers before committing to using this fabric. I purchased this for RV toyhauler seats & decided not to use it. I have a crewcab truck upholstered in 1000d Cordura and the real stuff is much thicker and more durable than this. Real 1000d Cordura nylon, in my opinion, feels is more durable than leather.

Used this product for the replacement material of bottom of dog bed. They tend to scratch the material creating holes. This has done the trick. Holding up nicely. The color is a lighter brown rather than chocolate in color for those trying to match it.
